Step 2 完成教材1a-1c的任务
1.学生看课本P73中1a部分的内容,并仿照图片中对话就自己闲置的物品进行谈论。
2.要求学生听第一遍录音,完成课本上1b的听力任务,并让学生读出所选句子。
3.要求学生听第二遍录音,并逐句进行跟读。
4.完成教材1c的任务。要求学生就图片中的其他物品进行对话练习,并邀请2-3对同学当堂进行演示。
Step 3 完成教材2a-2d的任务
1.学生听第一遍录音,在听到的Amy家人想要捐出的物品上画勾,并圈出他们想保留的物品;听第二遍录音,完成2b。
2.要求学生听第三遍录音,并逐句进行跟读。
3.学生模仿2c方框中的对话形式,利用2a、2b的信息分角色进行对话练习,然后邀请2-3对同学当堂进行演示,看哪一对的表现最佳。
4.学生自读2d中的对话,小组内进行对话练习。
5.播放录音,学生逐句跟读,并注音矫正自己的读音。
6.邀请一些同学进行表演展示,教师予以评价。

1.yard sale(P73) 庭院拍卖会
【用法】又称garage sale(车库售物)、porch sale或moving sale,是美国一种独特的售物方式。由主人把家中多余不用的物品放在庭院中,车库里或门廊下廉价出售。并在手写的广告中详细列出售卖的东西、时间和地点,而且主人用标签注明每件物品的价钱,没有标价的则可以还价。廉价处理的物品多种多样,多数属用过的东西,但也有全新的物品。为了吸引更多的买主,这种售货活动常在周末举行。
2.I've had it since I was a baby.(P74)
从我还是个婴儿的时候,我就拥有它了。
【用法】since,自从。since+过去一个时间点(如具体的年、月、日、钟点)。如:I have been here since 1989.从1989年我就在这儿了。
【拓展】(1)since+一段时间+ago。如:I have been here since five months ago.五个月前我就来这儿了。
(2)since+从句。如:Great changes have taken place since you left.自从你离开后,发生了很大的变化。
Considerable time has elapsed since we have been here.自从我们来这儿,已经过了相当长的时间。
(3)It is+一段时间+since从句。如:It is two years since I became a postgraduate student.自从我成为一名研究生已经两年了。

【用法】a bit作“一点点,有点”解,与a little基本同义,但相比之下a bit非正式些。两者都可接形容词或副词的原级或比较级,意为“一些;一点”。如:Your trousers are a bit/little short.你的裤子稍微短了一点。This book is a bit/little more interesting than that one.这本书比那本书有趣。
【拓展】a bit of用于不可数名词,动词要用单数,of后常与advice、news、piece等词连用。

【用法】even though引导的从句内容往往是真实的,主要用于引出不利于主句情况的信息,相当于汉语的“尽管”“虽然”。如:He went out even though it was raining.尽管在下雨,他还是出去了。Even though it's hard work,I enjoy it.虽然工作艰苦,我还是很喜欢。Even though he was getting angry,his voice remained level.即使他非常生气,他的声音仍保持稳定。He's the best teacher even though he has the least experience.尽管他经验最少,但教得最好。
2.some time(P75) 一些时间
【用法】some time(一些时间)表示一段时间;sometimes(有时)用于一般现在时;sometime(在将来某时)用于将来时;some times(次数)表示次数。如:Sometimes they go hiking in the mountains.他们有时去山里徒步旅行。I will stay here some time.我会在这儿待些时候的。I will meet your father sometime.我什么时候会见见你的父亲。

每个人是如此友好。
【用法】(1)everyone,不定代词,意思是“每个人,人人”,其同义词是everybody。作主语时,谓语动词用单数形式。everybody后不能接of短语,要改成every one后才能加of短语。
(2)so,副词,修饰形容词。
(3)friendly,形容词,“友好的”,be friendly with sb.与某人友好,be friendly to sb.对某人友善。
