A Teaching Plan for Unit 6 Grammar
Using adverbs with verbs & The comparative and superlative of adverbs
Part I Analysis of the text
1 It is lesson from Unit 6 grammar 8B. It is mainly about grammar “ using adverbs with verbs & the comparative and superlative of adverbs”.
2 Students have known something about the target language before, but they are required to preview the lesson beforehand.

Help students put the target grammar into practical use by completing games and exercises.

Show the questions and let Ss complete the questions based on the hint of first letters

Let students summarize the way how to form the adverbs ;
Remind Ss to pay attention to double fun_ction of hard, fast ,late as well as good, well;
Guide Ss to sum up how to form the comparative and superlative of adverbs
a. guide Ss to summarize the basic form of adverb & the double fun_ction of hard, fast ,late:

c. design a table to help Ss generalize the composition of adverbs
