一、教学目标
1. 学生能够根据单词的音、义、形来学习tomato, potato, carrots, green beans等单词的单复数；
2. 学生能够在具体的语境中理解名词的单复数形式并运用到语言交际中；
3. 学生能够借助图片、图像听懂简单的话语，识别不同的蔬菜；
4. 学生能够熟练运用句型What are these? They are … 来问答不同的蔬菜种类，并能够运用They’re…的句型描述出蔬菜的特征；
5. 学生能体会到英语学习的快乐，积极参与各种课堂学习活动；
6. 学生能够在表示蔬菜的词汇与相应的日常生活中的食物之间建立联想。
二、教学重点
1. 学生能够听、说、认读本课时的单词。
2. 学生能够熟练运用句型来问答有关蔬菜的品种。
三、教学难点
1. 学生能够用正确的语音、语调朗读词汇；
2. 学生能够关注tomato和potato的复数形式变化与其它的两个词汇的区别。
四、教学准备
1. 教学挂图与教学课件；
2. 课堂检测题；
3. 单词卡片。
五、教学过程
Step 1. Warm-up
Watch and review
描述一种蔬菜或水果的特征，让学生使用Let’s talk中的重点句型和单词提问来猜测，并给出“是”或“否”的答案。然后，学生两人一组，进行问答练习。
T: I have something. They’re big and red. They’re not apples. Can you guess?
设计意图：可以帮助学生回忆和复习上节课学习的知识。
Step 2. Presentation
1. Learn new words
（1）green beans
让学生根据已有知识猜测这是什么，然后揭示答案。播放录音，学生跟读单词，让学生感知ee，ea 字母组合的发音。出示教材情景图，练习句子，然后图片上圈出豆角。
设计意图：将对话融入单词的学习之中，为词汇的呈现及理解创设语境，利用图片创设语境。
（2）potatoes
出示单词卡片，图片和录音，让学生关注复数单词的变化。出示教材情景图，练习句子，然后在图片上圈出土豆。
（3）tomatoes
出示单词卡片和录音，音义匹配，让学生关注复数单词的变化。让学生对比记忆potato和tomato两个单词，提示学生tomato这个单词有两种发音。
设计意图：内化语言，纠正发音。
（4）carrots
用上述同样的办法讲解并操练这个词汇。
2. Look and listen
教师播放录音，让学生跟读Let’s learn的对话，记忆所学词汇。
设计意图：由视频总结单词的单复数变化规则，使学生的理解更加形象客观。
Step 3. Practice
1. Read aloud
全班学生四人一组朗读新单词，然后让所有学生都掌握单词的正确发音。
设计意图：保证全班学生都能掌握单词的正确发音，并为下面的Let’s chant做准备。
2. Let’s chant
教师呈现Let’s chant 的内容，学生练习后表演说唱。可指导学生替换一些单词，增强活动的趣味性。
设计意图：有节奏、有韵律的chant，让学生进一步复习和巩固本课时所学的单词。
3. Do exercise
教师呈现词汇互动练习，学生根据所示单词，选择正确的图片。
设计意图：通过游戏的形式，考查学生对词汇的掌握。
4. Play a game: Guessing game
教师呈现一些图片，学生根据已有的信息和问题猜测词汇，用句型回答问题。
设计意图：游戏强化学生对单词和句型的综合运用。
Step 4. Homework
1. 听Let’s learn的录音，读单词。
2. 搜集学过的蔬菜水果的单复数词汇。
