一、教学目标
1. 能够读出符合or发音规则的单词，能根据读音拼写符合or发音规则的单词。
2. 能够填充短语或句子，做到书写规范。
3. 能够通过相似字母组合之间的对比理解并记忆字母或字母组合的发音；
4. 能够通过教师示范及小组拆音、拼音的练习观察、感知并自己归纳出or在单词中的发音规则。
5. 学生能够初步了解自然拼读法，克服对英语学习的陌生感和恐惧感，提升记忆单词的能力。
二、教学重点
能够掌握字母组合or的发音规则，即or在单词中常见的两种发音，并能够读出符合发音规则的词汇。
教学难点
能根据读音拼写符合or发音规则的单词。
教学准备
教学课件；课上检测题；字母单词卡片。
五、教学过程
Step 1. Warm-up
1. Watch and review
让两位学生用一问一答的形式介绍农场中常见的动物和植物，提醒学生使用前面学过的句型。T: Hi! This is a farm. Let's have a look.
设计意图：复习上节课所学词汇，感知词汇的发音，引出本节课的语音。
2. Lead-in
带领学生一起复习含有字母组合er, ar, al, ir, ur 发音的单词，让学生朗读这些单词。
Step 2. Presentation
1. Watch and learn
（1）展示含有字母组合or的单词work的单词卡片。学生听work这个单词的发音，教师在work前添加home，组成homework一词。并展示关于这个单词的句子和图片以便于学生理解和记忆。
（2）把单词work中的k换成d，让学生朗读单词word，再在d前加上字母l，告诉学生l的发音，让他们尝试朗读单词world。教师展示一张中国地图和一张世界地图，让学生根据图片猜出world的含义。
（3）让学生看单词，然后分别用升降调朗读单词：word, world, work, homework，并总结字母组合or的发音为/?:/。再读其他含有字母组合or的单词：worm, worst, worth。
设计意图：通过字母的变化，增减来试读单词，学生自己在理解语音的基础上读出来的单词记忆比较深刻。
（4）把fork的单词卡片在苹果树上展示，让学生根据字母组合or的发/?:/的音，朗读单词。然后把字母f换成h，再在末尾添加字母se后，展示单词horse，并向学生展示or字母组合发音/?:/。
出示一些关于马的图片和句子，以便学生理解单词含义和记忆horse的单复数变化。
（5）把fork的单词卡片放在苹果树上展示，学生学习这个单词的发音和含义。教师把fork单词通过变换首字母的方式，改变成其他两个单词：pork, form，让学生根据or字母组合发/?:/的音的规律，尝试朗读这两个单词。出示一些关于fork叉子的图片和句子，以便学生理解单词含义和记忆fork的单复数变化。带领学生分别用升降调朗读单词：horse, fork, pork, form，并总结字母组合or的发音为/?:/。
3. Language point
教师讲解字母组合or在单词中的发音，讲解or的两种发音/??/和/??/。
设计意图：帮助学生归纳总结字母发音，让学生有条理的整理or的发音规则。
4. Listen and say
教师播放录音，学生根据发音规则朗读单词。
设计意图：通过跟读，让学生熟知字母的发音规则。
Step 3. Practice
1. Read, listen and number
播放Read, listen and number的录音，学生听录音后，完成排序活动。
2. Look, listen and write
播放Look, listen and write的录音，学生听录音后，完成写单词，补全句子的活动。
3. Write more words
学生四人一组写出包含字母or的单词，然后朗读这些单词，看哪组读音最标准，注意纠正学生的发音。
4. Do exercise
教师呈现发音练习，学生根据单词的发音，选择正确的单词。
设计意图：学生通过各种练习方式，提高说和认读英语的能力，掌握字母or的发音规则。
5. 播放Listen and chant，学生跟读课件或录音。观看Read, listen and chant的课件，全班一起跟着说唱。
设计意图：通过听录音写单词达成教学目标的知识与技能目标。
Step 4. Homework
1. 将40页上面的单词，读准确、读流利。
2. 自己利用各种学习工具积累符合or发音规则的词汇。
