第4课时
一、教学目标
1. 学生能够在具体的语境中理解a lot of animals, those等词的意义并能正确发音；
2. 学生能够在具体的语境中理解单词的单复数形式并能正确应用到语音交际中。
3. 学生能够在图片的帮助下理解对话大意，能够用正确的语音、语调朗读对话；
4. 学生能够在情景中运用句型What are those? Are they hens? 等句型问答农场的动植物。
5. 学生能够扮演农场主，主动热情地介绍自己的农场；
6. 学生在课堂交流中，注意倾听，积极思考，主动参与。
二、教学重点
1. 学生能够运用核心句型进行对话交流；
2. 学生能够将A、B两部分的句型融合在一起，并应用到日常的交流中。
三、教学难点
1. 学生能够在语境中理解新词的意思，并能正确读出新词汇；
2. 学生能够准确区别What are these? 和What are those?两个句型。

教学课件；课上检测题。
五、教学过程
Step 1. Warm-up
Let’s chant
让学生一起说唱，根据A部分学习的重点句型自编的歌谣。
设计意图：英文歌谣活跃课堂气氛。
Step 2. Presentation
1. Listen and answer
（1）呈现Let’s talk的内容
播放B Let’s talk的课文录音，并出示对话场景图片。教师提出课文相关问题，让学生整体感知对话内容，引导学生带着问题听录音，并回答问题。
T: Mike and Sarah are at the farm now. They see some animals there. Look! There are some horses. How many horses are there? Look and answer.
设计意图：让学生带着问题看课文，初步理解对话大意。问题中呈现新句型进行学习。
（2）讲解新句型
a. 出示B Let’s talk对话中第一幅插图及句型
T: Look at those animals.
(指着远处的动物图片，帮助学生理解。学生根据录音内容回答图片中的问题。)然后教师用出示对话语句，学生跟读录音并体会句子含义。
b. 教师出示第二幅图，让学生猜测图片的动物是什么。教师引导学生用Are those …? 提问，然后再出示对话文本，并用图片解释新词hen的意义。
(教师板书句型，红笔标注these 和those两个单词，并用手势示范，让学生区别两词的含义。) 设计意图：让学生在教材已有的情境中感知句型的环境，掌握与话题相关的语言交际的基础句型。
2. Language point
教师讲解询问数量的句型： How many ... do you have?
设计意图：帮助学生归纳总结句型。
Step 3. Practice
1. Ask and answer
让学生朗读Let’s talk的内容后，回答问题。
2. Look and say
教师呈现活动练习，学生观察图片，用给出的例句进行口语练习。
设计意图：通过练习，提升学生的口语能力，让学生在情境中掌握句型的使用。
3. Play and say
教师呈现一张游戏地图，学生掷骰子走步数，每走到一幅图，仿照例句进行对话。回答正确的可以等待下一次的掷骰子，答错的需要停留一次，看谁先到达终点。
设计意图：通过游戏，调动学生学习的积极性和趣味性同时，巩固句型的练习。
4. Let’s act
教师呈现Let’s Play部分的图片，学生仿照对话，进行表演展示。
设计意图：小组合作将本单元学生学过的句型融入到对话中，发展了学生的语言综合运用能力。
Step 4. Homework
1. 听音跟读录音磁带，用正确的语音、语调朗读对话。
2. 与小组同学一起创编新对话。
