第3课时
一、教学目标
1. 对重点句型的掌握：能够听懂会说What’s the weather like in…/How about…/It’s…degrees.并能用上述句型进行简单交流。
2. 对重点词汇的掌握：能听、说、读、写单词degree; 听、说、认识单词New York/London/Sydney/Toronto.
3. 要求学生能结合所给句型和词语，在实际情景中熟练运用，能与人简单谈论天气。
4. 本节课学习部分是对之前知识点的巩固，增强学习自信心，提高学习热情。

五、教学过程
Step 1. Warm-up
1. Do exercise
教师使用词汇互动练习，学生根据给出的有关天气的形容词，选择正确的图片。
设计意图：通过游戏，活跃课堂氛围的同时复习了上节课所学的描述天气的形容词。
2. Let’s chant
教师呈现歌谣，可以师生拍手齐唱，活跃课堂气氛，并初步感知新单词。
设计意图：复习上节课内容，强化知识记忆，引起学生兴趣，使学生迅速进入学习英语状态。
Step 2. Presentation
1. Look and say
教师拿出世界地图，指定位置，由学生说出城市名称（Sydney/London/Moscow/ Singapore/Beijing），并教读单词New York/ Toronto.
设计意图：直观的图画让学生记忆更深刻。
2. Let’s guess
根据不同城市的图片，理解What’s the weather like in…? 句型的含义，并引导学生回答问题。
3. Look and say
（1）Is it cold / hot in…? 句型的呈现，并引导学生根据图片回答问题。
（2）讲解单词degree，注重其发音及在语言环境中的运用。
4. Listen and say
教师播放Let’s talk 部分的音频，学生听录音。然后教师讲解Let’s talk 部分。
（1）打电话时介绍自己，要用This is…
（2）复习语句What’s the weather like in…?/It’s…
（3）学习新语句How about…/It’s…degrees.
（4）再次播放Let’s talk 部分录音，学生跟读。（注意degree读音）
设计意图：学生亲身实践加深记忆，提升学生口语能力。
5. Language point
教师讲解询问天气状况的句型，帮助学生归纳总结。
Step 3. Practice
1. Role-play
教师拿出事先准备好的头饰，找几位同学，两两一组，分别扮演Chen Jie和Mark，按照课本进行朗读对话。（教师在此过程中注意纠正学生的发音与语气，且对表现好的一组进行适当奖励）
设计意图：游戏活跃课堂气氛，让学生在交流中大量运用所学句型，加深记忆。
2. Look and say
教师呈现五张图，学生观察图片，然后根据范例，两两一组进行口语练习。
3. Group work（Let’s play）
（1）全班分为若干小组，每组随机发两张图片。（图片上包括城市名称、天气状况以及温度）
（2）小组间通过“打电话”问出互相知道城市的天气状况。

B: Hi,… this is…, It’s…, It’s…degrees. How about…?
A: It’s…, It’s…degrees.
设计意图：增加师生交流，学生间交流，掌握词汇和句型的使用。
