2.能听说读写singer, stage, dress, sing 等单词,认读formal clothes,会用pretty dresses, formal clothes等有关词语描述不同场合的着装。
3.能够正确理解课文对话,获取课文中的相关信息,能够正确朗读课文,表演对话。
4.知道在不同场合穿不同的衣服。

I Listen and say
1.Lead-in
1) Review the words about clothes : pajamas, jeans, hoody, a denim skirt, a blue suit with a silver tie, uniform, slippers, T-shirt, cap, jacket, dress, shorts, sweater, …,
2) Ak and answer: What do your parents do? Do you have brothers/cousins/…? What do they wear at work/school?
2.Learn the dialogue
(1)Talk about the picture
Have the children observe the picture, and then ask,
Who are in the picture? Where are they? What’s in Sara’s hand? Can you guess who the girl is in the photo?
(2)Listen and answer
Have the children listen to the dialogue with questions.
(3)Read and answer
Have Ss read the dialogue and answer the following questions in group:
Who is she in the photo?
What does Sara’s cousin do?
Why does she love to wear pretty dresses?
What is the man wearing?
Does Guoguo want to wear pretty dresses to sing on stage?
Explain: sunglasses—a pair of sunglasses; dresses ---pretty dresses.
(4)Try to talk about Sara’s cousin.

II Listen, look and learn
Show the pictures and listen to the phrases twice (on stage, at work, at school)
Explain: formal clothes
2.Listen and repeat.
3.Ask and answer in pairs.
Have the children ask and answer in pairs with the above words or they can use other phrases to practice.
4.Have the children make a new dialogue in pairs.
III Listen and match
1.Have the children observe the clothes and talk about them with their partners.
2.Choose a child to describe what they can see in the pictures.
3.Play the tape twice and have them match the pictures.
4.Have them listen again and check the answer in class.
IV Let’s do
Review the words about shoes and clothes.
Find out what your classmate like to wear and fill in the form.
Play a game: Guess who she /he is.
V Homework
1.朗读对话3遍,理解对话含义。
2.抄写文中的重点单词、短语、句子。
3.与同伴练习用功能句问答。
