教学目标
1.复习12生肖,能够熟练表达生肖的名称、轮回顺序及生肖特征。
2.复习本单元14个单词,能在具体情景中听、说、读、写这些单词。
3.复习生肖的词汇,能在谈论生肖的情景中运用。
4.复习频率副词和序数词,能正确运用频率副词和序数词进行交流。
5.了解辅音字母组合pr, pl在单词中的发音,并能根据规律拼读单词。
教学重难点
教学重点:复习本单元功能句及单词。
教学难点:在具体语境中谈论生肖、喜欢某种动物的理由及其生肖特征。

教学过程
I Now I can understand (Listen and match)
1.Talk about the pictures.
2. Listen twice and match.
3.Exchange books and check the answers.
4.Try to say something about the pictures.
II Now I can say
1.复习本单元的功能句
(1)复习和学习生肖动物特征:dog-caring, horse-strong, monkey-smart, rabbit-friendly, ox-hardworking, tiger-brave, rat-bright
(2) 请学生说句子,如: Horse is strong. Monkey is smart. ….
2.完成教材中的口语练习
(1)请学生观察图片,仿照例句:Grandma likes… best. She is as… as….
(2)请学生介绍家庭成员的属相。
(3)活动:Guess: Who’s that?
a.小组讨论,从哪些方面描述一个同学,列出问题。
How old is he/she?
When was he/she born?
What’s his/her favorite animal? Why?
What is he/she like?
How often does he/she do that?
b.小组展示,师生总结:
c.选一名学生从以上几方面对其进行介绍,
III Now I know the sound
Ask Ss to read the words by themselves.
Listen and check the sound.
Listen and repeat.
Ask some students to read the words to read the words and practice the words together.
Practice the sentences with the same procedure above.
Find and say the words which has pl /pr in it in groups as much as possible. Write them on the blackboard and read together.
IV Now I can read
1.Read quickly and answer: What’s it about?
2.Read and underline the key words.
3.Share the key words in groups.
4.Try to retell the story with the key words in groups.
5.Group show.
V Now I can write
1.Read the “Word Bank” quickly.
2.Read the dialogue and answer: What is it about?
3.Write the words by themselves.
4.Pair work: Check the answer.
