【第一课时】
【教学目标】
知识与技能目标：
1．会使用本课的四会新词，会认读on the top of his head, having fun, in the garden, on the street
2．会使用I’m looking for my…. What does he look like? 的句式，进行简单的对话交流。
3．能正确地朗读课文，表演对话．
4．在学习课文的基础上，根据情景, 掌握在对物品描述中能从形状、外观特点、物体比较大小、颜色等几方面进行准确地表达。
过程与方法目标：
1．利用语音、实物帮助学生学习单词、短语。
2．通过听力策略中的预测、监控、澄清的方式理解课文相关内容。
3．通过大量的语言操练，学生在描述中能从形状、外观特点、物体比较大小、颜色等几方面对物品进行熟练、准确的表达。
4．通过创编对话的方法，培养学生的语言综合运用能力。
情感态度价值观目标:
培养能够关爱他人，助人为乐的好品质。
【教学重难点】
重点：
能在寻物的情境下就寻找物品I’m looking for ...和描述物体特征What does he look like?的话题灵活地进行问答
难点：
学生在对物品描述中能从形状、外观特点、物体比较大小、颜色等几方面(He has beautiful eyes. He’s all white but black on the top of his head．)进行准确地表达。

【教学过程】
Warming up
活动一：Guessing game: animals
活动目标：利用语言描述，复习旧知，激活学生描述动物形状、颜色的单词，使学生明确本节课要学习的内容。
实施方法和师生预设语言：
1．教师在黑板上画图,一次画一笔，让学生猜猜老师在画什么
T: Look! I’m drawing something on the blackboard．What am I drawing? It is big. It has two long ears, and it can jump. What’s it?
S: You are drawing a rabbit.
2．学生进行描述
T: Yes, you’re right. Can you describe an animal and let’s guess what it is. What does it look like?
S: …
3．Do pair work.
设计意图：猜谜游戏往往能激发学生的学习兴趣，也能很好地把已学的旧知识和新知识结合在一起，不仅温故而知新，还能自然地引出新的知识点。

活动二：Listen and say学习课文对话
活动目标：教师将通过听录音前的预测、推测、通过回答有关课文问题等帮助学生理解对话，先理解主旨信息，再理解细节信息。
实施方法和师生预设语言：听录音前的预测、推测、通过回答有关课文问题等理解对话
1．Look and say:（出示电子课本相关图片）
T: Look at the picture of Lesson 3．What do you want to know about new dialogue? You can ask questions with “what, who, where, when, how, did”
S: …
2．Listen and answer出示以下问题，听全文回答主旨信息
1) What’s the matter with Baobao?
2) What does Baobao’s kitten look like?
再听两遍回答细节信息。（可以分两部分听）回答细节信息
3) Does he call the police?
4) Why is Baobao worried?
T: Before listening, please read some questions:
S: Try to answer the questions.
2．T: Read the dialogue and answer the questions:

活动三：Let’s practice
活动目标：在语言情境中学习并掌握有关寻找物品和描述物品形状的表达，对相关语言点学生能够自主总结和归纳。
实施方法和师生预设语言：
1．朗读表演课文，边做寻找的动作，感悟理解寻找物品的心情和语言。
学生跟录音朗读，体会语言。
2．Pair work：两人一组进行对话练习，教师进行个别辅导
3．Act out：指名表演对话，给予相应的表扬、鼓励
设计意图：通过感知、体验、实践、参与、合作的方式，实现任务目标，通过反复的操练，训练学生能就相关内容进行提问，并能做出相应的回答。

活动四：综合语言运用，尝试写作
活动目标：在语言综合表述的基础上，撰写有关寻物、物体形状的对话，落实在写作中。
实施方法和师生预设语言：
1．出示几个图片
T: Please choose one picture and try to make a new dialogue about looking for something.
S: Try to make a new dialogue about looking for something in groups.
2．T: Who want to show the action for us?
S: Show the action. (3~5 groups)
3．T: Please try to write down your new dialogue.
S: Write the new dialogue by themselves.
设计意图：学生在学习课文的基础上，通过观察图片感受语言、模仿语言，提高语言交际能力和写作能力。
