教学过程：
Step1. Warming up
课前热身，提高学生学英语的兴趣。
Lead in by discussing the following question :
1. Do you like summer? Why?
S1:Because I like to swim.
S2:Because summer holiday is in summer.
T:Yes summer holiday is coming .
What are you going to do in this summer?
S1:I am going to visit Beijing .
T:Great, Beijing is worth visiting. There are many places of interest.
e.g. Beijing university and Tsinghua University are all in Beijing .
S2:I will go to the countryside.
T:Wonderful. There are many beautiful things. We can enjoy beautiful flowers.
S3:I am going to play football…..
T: Well done! Playing football is good exercise. It is good for our health and we should do more sports during summer holidays.
分析：提出学生颇感兴趣的问题，学生展开热烈讨论。
分小组展开讨论，展示讨论结果各小组踊跃举手，讨论的非常热烈，最后老师评价讨论的结果，并对学生的回答进行拓展和延伸，多媒体展示图片，让学生说出他们在暑假将要做的事，分别是play football,swim,go on a trip,visit……其中老师出示有swim的图片时，应询问他们在哪里游泳，提醒学生安全性，对进行学生复教育。出示各种运动，强调运动对身体的好处，鼓励学生多参加体育运动。

2. Read the lesson and complete Danny’s diary.
(1) Read the diary with missing words quickly .
(2) Don’t look at the text and listen carefully.
(3) Complete Danny’s diary.

2. What will Danny do in the sun during his holiday?
3. What will he eat in the holiday?
4. What is Danny going to do during summer holidays?
5. Who is coming to look for Danny?

课后反思：本课内容主要是假期活动，课前先让学生讨论，然后老师评价讨论的结果，并对学生的回答进行拓展。让学生学会合作，探究，展示，参与。根据思维导图复述课文，加深对课文的理解，最后落实到笔头写作上。每个环节环环紧扣，扎实到位。学生每个环节，老师及时评价，并给予鼓励，学生自信心得以提升。
