本节教学设计是为冀教版初中英语下册第一单元unit1 A Trip to the Silk Road 中的第一课lesson1 A Trip to China 而设计。
指导思想
本单元以加拿大学生来中国旅游,游览丝绸之路为主线,以如何制定计划和了解中国历史和文化为话题展开教学,让学生在了解历史的同时激发他们的表达欲望,是学生有话可说,既能学习英语又能了解祖国文化,激发爱国热情。
教材分析
冀教版七年级英语下册unit 1 是围绕A Trip to the Silk Road 位话题展开的,本单元从制定旅行计划到沿着丝绸之路旅行参观名胜古迹,让学生了解到中国多彩的文化,而lesson1是本单元第一课,介绍Jenny和同学们计划去中国旅行,本课呈现了单元核心语法—一般将来时,因此本课是本单元重要的一课,为本单元的学习奠定基础。
学情分析
七年级的学生有一定的知识储备,对一般将来时并不陌生,大部分学生能判断时态但不能灵活使用,因此强化训练是本课的重点。而七年级学生对丝绸之路了解不是很清楚,因此引导了解丝绸之路的路线,以便为本单元的学习做好铺垫。
教学目标Teaching aims and demands

2. Ability aims
After learning the text, the students will be able to grasp the key words and expressions, they will be able to use the Simple Future Tense to talk about their plan about trip and ask for permission with their own words. 3.Emotional aims
Encourage the students to express their ideas with their own words to make them have confidence and interests to learn English. Help the students learn how to express their wish when they want to do sth, let the students realize the necessity about learning English well.

教学过程 Teaching steps
Step 1.Warming up
T: Hello, everyone! Nice to meet you! (Ask a few students these questions: How is the weather today? Is everyone here? Do you feel cold or warm today? What season is it now? In spring, people like to go on a trip, how about you? During the Spring Festival, many foreigners come to visit China, Danny wants to visit the Silk Road, do you want to go?)
Step 2: lead in new lesson
Show the map of the Silk Road ,lead the students to learn about the history and make the understand China is a great country.
Step 3:Listening task
Listen to the tape and answer the following questions:
1.Who will go to China? where will they visit?
2. who will lead Jenny and the students to go to China?
3.Does Jenny’s parents agree with her to go? How does Jenny feel?
Step 4: Read the text and fill in the blanks.
Rewrite the text into a story and show it on the blackboard to let the students to fill in the blanks to learn the new words and the phrases.
From the story, let the students grasp the new words and phrases and important sentences. Encourage the students to use the new words and phrases to make sentences.
Step5: Role-play games
Divide the students into groups to read the text, then ask the students to begin the role-play in front of the class.
Step6: Language points
1. We are learning about the Silk Road this month in school.
这个月我们正在学校学习丝绸之路。

2. Mum and dad, may I ask you a question?
爸爸妈妈,我可以问你们一个问题吗?
May I…? 此句式表达有礼貌地请求对方允许,语气十分委婉,还可以表达为:Could I \ Can I?其肯定回答常用:Yes.可以。\ Sure.\ Certainly.当然可以。否定回答为:I`m sorry, you can`t.抱歉,不行。\I`m sorry, but…抱歉,但……\ You`d better not. 你最好别这样。
3. Who will lead the trip?
lead动词“带领、指路”。其过去式led,名词为leader(领导者)
The road leads you to the post office.
You lead, and I`ll follow.
4. Here is the note from my school. 这是我们学校的信笺。
note用作可数名词,意为“信笺、笔记”。
(1)make \ take notes 意为“做笔记”。
We should make \ take notes carefully in class.
(2) leave sb. a note 意为“给某人留便条”。
He left his son a note on the table.
5. I will send Li Ming an e-mail and tell him the good news.
我将给李明发电子邮件,告诉他这个好消息。
(1).send及物动词,“寄,送”,过去式为sent。
send sb. sth.= send sth. to sb.意为“把某物寄给某人”
My friend often sends me books.
(2).tell sb. sth.= tell sth. to sb. 意为“告诉某人某事”
I will tell him my name.
6. What does Mrs. Smith think about the trip?
史密斯夫人认为这次旅行怎么样?
think about意为“考虑,认为”
What do you think about Spots Weekly?
7.This is a good chance for you.对你来说这是一次很好的机会。
chance用作可数名词,意为“机会、运气”。
have a chance to do sth.= have a chance of doing sth. 意为“有机会做某事”,by chance 意为“偶然地”。
It`s a good chance to learn from workers.
8.My school is planning a trip around China with Li Ming`s school.
(1).trip可数名词,意为“旅行、旅程”,通常指短距离的旅行。
We will make a trip to the seaside.
Have a good trip.愉快的旅行
(2).around介词,意为“遍及、全”,后跟表示地点的名词,around China意为“中国各地”,相当于all over China。
People around the world love peace.
9. Some students from my class will go to China and travel on the Silk Road.
我班里的一些学生会去中国,在丝绸之路上旅行。
本句是一般将来时,一般将来时用于描述将要发生的动作或存在的状态。它的基本结构是“will+动词原形”。
We will get there on time.
will结构的句式变化是:
肯定句 主语+will+动词原形+其他
否定句 主语+will not\won`t+动词原形+其他
一般疑问句 Will +主语+动词原形+其他?肯定答语:Yes, 主语+will.否定答语:No, 主语+won`t.
特殊疑问句 特殊疑问句+will+主语+动词原形+其他?

10.I will send Li Ming an e-mail and tell him the good news.
我会给李明发一份电子邮件,告诉他这个好消息。
news不可数名词,意为“新闻、消息”。可用piece表示其数量,例如:

“两则新闻” two pieces of news

教学反思Teaching Reflection:
The students are able to use the words and phrases to talk about their plans with the Simple Future Tense, but the students have no experience of trip, and they are not good at history and geography, so they don’t know much about The Silk Road, and it is hard for them to talk about their plan trip. In the class the teacher should encourage them and help them to speak English as often as possible.
