Read and match
呈现单词，请学生读单词，然后将动词原形与其相对应的过去式连线。

设计意图：通过学生感兴趣的连连看游戏，活跃课堂气氛，复习巩固上课时所学词汇。

教师出示一些景点的图片，如：天山、吐鲁番、长城等。教师请学生说说景点的名称，是否去过这些景点及在这些景点的活动。

设计意图：通过图片的方式，引入本课时话题，为新知学习作好铺垫。

2. Look and learn
（1）教师讲解词汇：fell, off, Labour Day, mule, Turpan, could, till并带读。

（2）呈现对话，教师标出重点句型，然后逐个讲解。
