2. 能够运用核心句型How was your …? 及本课时词组谈论假期的活动。

能够运用所学知识谈论关于假期活动的话题。

Step 1 Warm-up
Bomb game
用课件呈现五个短语,让学生快速读出。如果短语带有炸弹,则不读。
T: Before we start our new lesson, let’s play a game. You should read them as soon as you can. However, you can’t read the phrases with a bomb.
设计意图:通过游戏的方式,活跃课堂气氛,复习巩固本单元所学词汇。

根据下面的句型提示,同桌两人一组创编新对话。
Where did you go over your holiday?
Who did you go with?
How did you go there?
What did you do?
T: Well done! Now please make a dialogue with your partner.
设计意图:通过同桌自由讨论,锻炼学生的口语表达能力,将学到得知识应用于实践。
Role play
教师播放动画,两人一组进行角色扮演。
设计意图:通过创设的情境,让学生进行对话,进一步巩固上个课时的重点内容。
Step 2 Presentation
Look and learn
T: Now let’s start to learn some new words of the past tense of verbs.
(1)教师出示词组eat fresh food及其意思,并提问What did he do? 然后出现eat fresh food的过去式ate fresh food,并用He ate fresh food. 进行回答。
(2)教师出示词组go swimming及其意思,并提问What did he do? 然后出现go swimming的过去式went swimming,并用He went swimming. 进行回答。
(3)教师出示词组take pictures及其意思,并提问What did he do? 然后出现take pictures的过去式took pictures,并用He took pictures. 进行回答。
(4)教师出示词组buy gifts,并提问What did he do? 然后出现buy gifts的过去式bought gifts,并用He bought gifts. 进行回答。
(5)教师展示四个动词的过去式,教师带读,然后让学生自己读,并背诵。
设计意图:利用动词原形和过去式对比的方式,讲授本课重点词汇,帮助学生牢记。

呈现词组,全班一起读、分组读、个人读。
T: Now let’s read the words together and then in groups, at last individually.
设计意图:通过不同方式的朗读,帮助学生再次练习巩固短语的发音。
Look, say and spell
课件快速闪现四个词组,让学生说出看到的词组,并拼写。
T: Now let’s play a game. You should say the English words and spell it.
设计意图:通过游戏的方式,提高学生的学习兴趣,进一步巩固本课时所学词汇。
Listen, follow and practice
播放Let’s learn 部分的录音,让学生听音跟读,并引出句型How was your summer holiday? It was good. 然后请学生两人一组看课本进行对话练习。
T: Now you’ve got to listen and follow. Pay much attention to the pronunciation. Then practice it in pairs.
设计意图:引导学生通过看、听、说、练等途径来巩固本课时的重点词汇。

教师带领学生复习重点句型:询问对方感受(How is/was your...?)

Look and retell
教师请学生看课本P27 Look and say部分的内容,教师引导学生仔细看Andy暑假活动的细节,然后同桌两人一组进行复述。
T: Look, the boy is Andy. His summer holiday was fun. Do you want to know something about it? What did he do over his summer holiday? Please look at the picture carefully and retell it with your partner.

Play a game: Drive the train
呈现词组,让学生仿照范例进行对话。
