一、概念
there be 句型又叫“存在句型”，表示“某处存在某人或某物”。
二、结构
1.肯定句结构
（1）There is+a/ an+可数名词单数或（不可数名词）+地点
（2）There are +some/ many/数词+可数名词复数+地点. There is a pen on the desk. 课桌上有一支钢笔。 There are fifty-two students in our class. 我们班有52名学生。
2.否定句结构
（1）There is +not+a/ an+可数名词单数或（不可数名词）+地点
（2）There are +not+any/ 数词+可数名词复数+地点. There isn’t an orange in her bag. 她的包里没有橙子。 There aren’t any people in the room. 房间里没有人。
3. 一般疑问句结构
（1）Is there +a/ an+可数名词单数或（不可数名词）+地点？
肯定回答:Yes, there is. 否定回答：No, there aren’t. —Are there any books on the desk? 课桌上有一些书吗？—Yes, there are. / No, there aren’t.

三、注意
1. there be 句型中be动词的形式要和其后的主语在人称和数上保持一致。如果有两个或两个心上的名词作主语，be动词要和离它最近的主语在人称和数上保持一致，即遵循“就近原则”。 There is an orange and some bananas in the basket. 篮子里有一个橙子和一些香蕉。 There are some bananas and an orange in the basket. 篮子里有一些香蕉和一个橙子。
2. there be 句型与have/ has的区别 there be 句型强调的是位置关系，表示“某地有某物/某人”；have/has 强调的是所属关系。 There are three books on the desk. 课桌上有三本书。 I have three books. 我有三本书。
3. there be 和 have/ has不能同时用在一个句型中，但是可以互相转换。There are abut 2,000 students in our school.=Our school has about 2,000 students. 我们学校大约有2000名学生。
