描述人的外貌时，可以从身高、体形、发型、面部特征等方面进行描述，也可以描述着装。
一、询问人的外貌的句型
询问一个人的长相时，常用“What do/ does sb. look like?”句型，意为“某人长什么样？”其中，look like意为“看起来像”，look为系动词，意为“看起来”，like为介词，意为“像……”。—What does your cousin look like? 你表姐长什么样？ —She is of medium height and has long curly hair. 她中等身高，留着长长的卷发。
二、描述人的外貌的常用句型
1.“主语+be+形容词“用于描述某人的外形。Mr. Wang is tall and thin. 王老师又高又廋。
