导入新课 Warming up 教师展示第一课时学习的词汇和短语相关的图片和提示，引导学生对词汇短语进行复习； 教师展示上节课文，让学生默读，之后快速朗读或背诵。Ask&Answer What are these in English? Do you remember? 学生根据图片和文字提示回顾词汇； 学生进行任务型速读、背诵上节课文。 第一课时是本节内容的基础，必须熟练掌握，因此设置词汇回顾以及课文背诵环节，任务型设置使得学生认识到文章重要性，也督促其更快掌握。
讲授新课 Look and read(1)教师播放课文对应视频，学生观看并尝试跟读； (2)展示课文文本内容，引导学生找出新词进行辨认，对课文内容进行讲解，并引导学生勾画重点句型。 (3)对重点句型进行讲解，并针对单复数用法进行辨析和练习。（4） Read aloud 学生分组进行朗读课文。Fun time.Look at the picture , and describe what you are going to do for the book week.展示课本图片，引导学生回顾人物的行为，并试着结合重点句型进行造句。 提示：I am going to... We are going to...Work and playComplete the notes.补充课文笔记。展示课本中给出的任务，引导学生进行填写。Practice Fill in the blank. 1.The students in Class 5A are going to ______ posters about the best stories 2. The boys are going to do a ______ about children's favourite books. 3.Book Week is ______ ! Translate the sentences. 1.男生要去做一个关于“孩子们最喜欢的书”的调查。 2.5A班的学生将要制作关于给《给孩子们最好的故事》的海报。 女生要去读一个剧本然后表演。Summary复习重点词汇以及重点句型。 Keywords:storybook,buy,story, dictionary,newspaper,week,student Key sentences: 主语+be going to ...Homework（1）抄写本课词汇； （2）用be going to进行造句，单复数各2个； （3）完成本课习题册。 学生观看课文相关视频，跟读文中人物的对话，尝试模仿视频中人物的语音语调，根据已学词汇，尝试说出对话主题，用自己的话来描述视频内容。 通过视频学习，可以提前预习课文内容，并对课文主题有一定了解；通过重点句型的随堂练习，使得学生可以及时当堂巩固，为知识记忆打下基础。 展示课文图片，引导学生进行回忆，回忆课文内容与重点词句，并尝试用重点句型表达，有助于学生将课本知识进行内化。
课堂小结 这节课的教学任务目标是能理解并会朗读课文；能听懂、会说、会拼读单词：storybook,buy,story, dictionary,newspaper,week,student。本课为新授课，通过播放视频并跟读朗读课文；通过灵活丰富的课堂形式，让学生熟悉课文内容，进而可以复述故事，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，增强自信心，通过教学评价，让学生体验到成就感，促进学生学习和发展。
