We go to Europa Park (欧洲主题公园) and Disneyland to learn about Europe and the US of the 20th century. What is the easiest way for people to learn about China? In the near future, paying a visit to Visions of China (视觉中国) – the world’s first Chinese theme park – will be a good choice. The park, Visions of China, will be in Rotherham, in the northern part of England. It will have an area of 485,616 square (平方) meters. The construction (建设) of the park will start soon. It will take 18 to 24 months to finish. Visitors to the park will enter through a Chinatown-like street and go to the Shaolin Temple. There will also be roller coaster rides, restaurants, gardens and a Shanghai-style shopping center in the park. Chinese culture is becoming more and more popular in Western countries. The number of foreign people coming to visit China is going up every year.? Peter Moore, the head of Visions of China, is quite sure that visitors will love the park. “Western people are interested in China. I believe it will be one of the most exciting projects in Britain,” Moore said. Developers (开发商) say the park should attract about 1.5 million visitors from the UK and foreign countries each year.
