Lesson 33 Kim’s Favorite Season

【设计思路】
1、指导思想:以新课标新理念为指导,采用导学案的教学形式,培养学生自主学习、主动参与、合作交流的意识及探究发现、解决问题的能力,提高学生听、说、读、写技能和综合运用语言的能力。
2、设计理念:本课围绕“Kim’s autumn activity”这些学生最感兴趣的话题,利用多媒体创设autumn. Autumn activities 教学情境,将学生置身于秋天的大自然中,指导学生学会学习,学会归纳整理,培养学生自主学习,合作学习的能力。让学生在轻松、愉快的学习氛围中掌握本课教学内容。
3、教材分析:本节课围绕Kim’s最喜欢的季节展开讨论、学习,帮助学生更好地了解季节特点和季节活动。并鼓励学生表达自己最喜欢的季节和季节活动,同时掌握what、how感叹句的用法。
4、学情分析:通过学生对本单元前两课的学习,学生能听懂简单的英语信息,并传达信息。学生能在自主学习的环境中探索、合作、交流,并能运用感叹句。
【教学目标】

1、Learn the new words and phrases.
2、Know about Kim’s Favorite Season.
3、Let the students describe their favorite season activities.
4、Go on learning Exclamatory Sentences.
5、Train the students, listening, speaking and reading
skills.
教学过程与方法:
1、Get some information by reading, listening.
2、Learn and Practice English by learning oneself、discussing pairwork and group work.
3、Provide some pictures and important information by PPT.
情感目标:
1、Have the students communicate with partner in English.
2、Make the students talk about some fun season activities and love lives.

1、Master the new words and phrases in this lesson.

【教学过程】
Step 1: Greeting and leading-in
T: Hi, everyone! There are four seasons in a year. Do you listen to a song? (播放歌曲“四季歌”)
What’s your favorite season? Do you know Kim’s favorite season? (No).OK, Let’s learn about Kim’s favorite season. (用PPT出示本科题目).
通过听歌曲、谈论四季,自然而然引出本节课话题,让学生进入本课话题。
Step2 checking preparation
1.Words-check(单词自测)
1) The ________(温度)in the room is not high.
2) They lived together_______(幸福地).
3) If you are happy, ________(拍一拍) your hands.
4) Kim likes to eat apple ________(馅饼).
5) I _______(喜欢、享受) the different colors of the leaves.
2.Phrases-study(短语自学)

这一步骤是学生的课前预习检查,通过学生的课前自主预习,他们已经基本掌握了本节课的单词和短语,并标注出自己没学懂的内容,了解了本节课的重难点。
Step3 Listening and answering
1)Play the tape first, ask the class to listen only.
2) Have the students Read and understand the questions on the screen.
3) Have the students listen to the tape again, and find out the answers to the questions.
4) Check the keys and discuss them in groups.
本环节既是理解课文,又是听力训练。学生带着问题有目的的听,帮助他们抓住关键信息,有利于掌握一定的听力技能。
Step4 Reading and learning
1)Ask the students to read the text by themselves quickly and loudly in groups, they should pay attention to pronunaciation.
2)Have several students read the text in class, the other students
find out something wrong and correct.
3)Divide the students into groups of six. Give them several minutes to discuss and learn what they unknown, they can also ask the teacher for help. In this way, the students can solve the problems.
4) Read the text freely, then give the answers to the questions on the screen.
1)Who is talking at the front of the class?
2) What season is Kim talking about?
3)How is the temperature is in this season?
4)What does Kim often wear?
5) How many bags do they pick the apples?
5)Check the keys in class.
设计这一教学过程,既有学生自主学习,又有学生对学和群学;既有学生的主体活动,又有老师的指导点拨。既给了学生自由的学习空间,又培养了学生主动参与、合作交流的意识及探究发现、解决问题的能力。
Step5 Pairwork
1)Get the students to make up the dialogues about season and season activities.
2)After finishing, ask several pairs to act them out in class.
3)Exchange their dialogues in groups.
Eg:
A: It’s cold today, isn’t?
B: Yes, it is. We are all wearing warm clothes.
A: Do you like winter?
B: No, I don’t. Autumn is my favorite season.
A: Why?
B: Because the weather is cool and we can enjoy many kinds of fruits. What about you?
A: I like spring. Because I like playing in the rain.
B: Different people have different ideas. Every season is important.
A: Yes, you are right. Let’s go and make a snowman.
B: Ok.
编写对话,给了学生极大地自由学习空间,培养了他们的交际能力;在小组内交换对话,使每一位学生至少有了两种思想,知识有了拓展,能力得到提高。

Step8 Homework(家庭作业)
写一个你喜欢的季节及你在这个季节的一些活动。题目是“My favorite season”.字数:80词左右。

【教学反思】
通过本节教与学活动,并与同学们交流,达到了教学目标任务,经过认真总结反思后有以下优点与不足:
优点:
1、在英语教学过程中,我注重了最大限度地营造民主平等、和谐默契的课堂氛围。采用多种教学方法使学生思维活跃,学习热情高涨。
2、本节课重点明确、思路清晰,环环相扣,围绕季节——天气——活动顺序展开学习。
3、本课涉及到的所有问题,均通过自主学习、主动参与、合作交流的方式得以解决。把学习化为交际,这最大限度满足了学生想用英语交流的渴望。
4、本课听、说、读、写训练充分、到位,使学生语言技能训练落在了实处。
缺点:
1、部分同学课前预习不到位,课堂参与不主动,以后教学过程中,应多关心潜能生的发展性学习。
2、在群学过程中,敢于单独表达思想的学生人数依然偏少。大部分学生心里明白,但不会用口语交际。在平时英语教学活动中,应多训练学生口语表达。
