一、教学目标

五、教学过程
Step1. Warming up
1)看图,复习词汇及句型。
利用课件出示第八课中的重点单词以及短语,学生复习有关的建筑物名称,并对建筑物方位使用句型“There is …”进行交流。
2)Play a game通过游戏教师依次发指令,学生快速做出反应,做错或做的最慢者算输,淘汰出局。
Step2.?Presentation
1) 先检查学生们的预习情况。新词和短语都会了没有,有没有不会读的找出来了大家一起解决。(让会的学生教,教师给予鼓励,树立学生们的自信心。如果学生会的话他们非常愿意教大家)
2)To learn the new dialogue.(带着预习卡中的问题)
Show the picture. Have the students look and guess what are they talking about?
T: Look at the picture. What’s in the picture?
S: There are two girls in it.
T: Who are they, do you know?
S: They’re Kate and Lisa.
T: What are they talking about? Do you know?
S: Lisa want to go to the bookshop, but she doesn’t know the way,so she asks kate the way ...
T: Yes.Look at the questions:
Q1: When did Lisa move here?
Q2: Where is Lisa going?
Q3: Does Kate know the way?
Now work in groups, let’s the students find the answers. (学生们都已经预习了,所以应该比较简单。)
2) Have the students discuss in groups about the questions. Then check answers.通过讨论熟悉以下句子:I moved to this community last week. I live in this community. Where are you going? I want to go to the bookshop.教师充分利用小组发挥其作用,小组长要起到带动大家的作用。
3) 小组合作找出去书店的路线图,并引导学生对去书店的路线进行表达。
T: Where is the bookshop?
T & Ss: Go down this street and turn right at the traffic lights. Then you can see the bookshop on the left.(have the students repeat and say to their partners)
4)教师继续提问:
T: How will Lisa go there? On foot or by bus?
S: On foot.
T: How long does it take to go there? Only a few minutes.突破难点语言,通过自问自答帮助学生理解How long it take to go there?,引导学生对此句进行理解、模仿和表达。
Step3: Practise
1、Show the picture ,have the Ss to practice asking the way.
目的是为了让他们再次熟悉所学的句型,能够在情境中会运用。
2、Have the students listen to the then repeat. Pay attention to the pronunciation. Then act out the dialogue in groups.
利用课件再次整体听、跟读模仿本课课文,模仿录音中的语音、语调,小组朗读课文或小组表演等。小组内操练,小组间课堂展示并相互进行评价,选出最佳小组,以此增加学生对英语朗读的兴趣。
