Unit 1 Let’s make a home library.
一、教学目标
1. 能听、说、读、写单词:library, idea, put, heavy, card, ask, wrong, dear等。
2. 能在现实生活中使用目标功能句:Let’s … 提出建议。
3. 能够准确朗读课文,围绕主题展开对话。
4. 通过有趣的课堂活动引导学生积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务,并在此过程中体会学习英语的乐趣。
二、教学重点及难点
重点: 能听、说、读、写单词:library, idea, put, heavy, card, ask, wrong, dear等。
难点: 能在现实生活中使用目标功能句:Let’s … 提出建议。
三、教学过程
I. Warm-up
Pair work
教师出示图片,学生两人一组,利用所给句型进行问答。最后教师可以请几组学生进行展示。例如:
A: What did you have for breakfast yesterday?
B: I had …
设计意图:复习上一模块所学单词。
II. Presentation
1. Look, listen and say
教师播放Unit 1 活动1的录音,学生听录音,理解课文大意。教师讲解单词student。
请学生逐句跟读课文,鼓励学生模仿录音的语音语调。然后进行全班跟读、小组跟读、个人跟读,并请一些学生进行展示。
设计意图:初步感知课文内容。
2. Learn new words
教师出示6副图片,上面有编号A、B、C、E、D、F。每个谜语对应本课的新单词。
(1) T: It’s round (圆的). It can play (播放) music. Which one? (CD)
(2) T: You can put (放) books on it. This is a bookshelf. We can put books on it. 学习shelf。(利用升降调,phonics教学法。)
(3) T: You can borrow (借) books from it. (library)
(4) T: You can use it borrow books from the library. 学习library card。
(5) T: You can write emails on it. (sent) 学习sent。
T: Yes, it’s a computer. I think all of you like it very much. Right? Because we can play computer games, we can send e-mails. Yesterday I sent an e-mail to my friend.
(6) T: You can find Chinese words (汉字) in it. (dictionary) 带一本字典,利用实物教学。
(7) T: Now let’s learn the other new words together.
教师带领学生学习 idea, put, heavy, ask, wrong, dear。
通过男女生读、个人读、小组读、大小声读等练习本单元的新单词,建立单词的音、义、形之间的联系。
设计意图: 通过多种形式的操练,使学生牢固掌握单词。
3. Listen and say
教师播放Unit 1活动2的录音,请学生看图,理解课文语境。
设计意图:学生第一次听录音,整体感知对话大意。
4. Listen and choose
第二次播放录音,请学生完整的听一遍录音,并回答问题。
T: Listen again, then choose the right answers.
(1) Who sent these books and CDs to Amy and Lingling?
A. Daming. B. A friend. C. John.
(2) What are these big books?
A. They’re books about science.
B. They’re books about Maths.
C. They’re dictionaries.
(3) Where are the books about art?

设计意图:让学生带着任务来学习课文,通过回答问题帮助学生更好的理解课文。
5. Learn new sentences 教师讲解新句型
询问和寻找相关信息的句子:
Where are the books about computers, please?
They’re on Shelf C.
T: Now let’s watch a video and learn the sentence “Let’s …”.
6. Language points
教师讲解 Let’s ...的用法,便于学生理解掌握及运用。
设计意图:内化语言知识,及时突破重难点。
III. Practice
1. Read in roles
教师将学生分成四人一组,分别扮演Amy, Lingling, Sam 和Ms Smart,进行对话表演。教师请几组学生上台表演,比一比哪组表演的最生动,并给予一定的奖励。
设计意图:进一步巩固本课知识。
2. Listen and say
教师播放Unit 1活动3的录音,请学生边看图片,边听录音,并跟读录音。教师找几名同学朗读,并给予一定的奖励。
设计意图:让学生在交流中大量运用所学句型,加深记忆。
3. Play a game
(1)苹果树上的苹果写有中文,请拼写出正确的英文,摘下这个苹果。
T: Let’s play a game and pick up the apples.
设计意图:游戏的设置可以激发学生的兴趣,还可以检验学生对知识的掌握程度。
(2)全班按照纵队分成若干组。老师分别给每组最后一排的学生一张纸条。例如:
The books on Shelf A are about science.
The books on Shelf B are about art.
The books on Shelf C are about animals.
设计意图:让学生灵活运用所学知识进行交际活动。锻炼口语表达能力。
4. Look and say
教师请学生看图,依次说出四幅画表现的事物。然后朗读例句,请学生两人一组仿照示例进行对话、提出建议。最后请部分学生展示,教师注意评价学生用 Let’s … 提建议的正确性。
设计意图:让学生在交流中大量运用所学词汇和句型,加深记忆。
IV. Homework
1. 听音跟读Unit 1 活动 2。
2. 复述课文。
3. 回去整理自己的书籍,建立一个自己的个人图书角,并制作图书卡。
