一、教学内容: Song time& Checkout time &Cartoon time
二、教学目标:
1. 通过情景交流,能熟练运用现在进行时来描述正在发生的动作。
2. 能唱歌曲Polly, put the kettle on。
3. 掌握单词、词组garden, grow grapes, big and sweet, pests, ladybirds, go away。
4.理解短文大意,大致了解昆虫的知识。
5.能有感情地朗读、表演故事,语音语调正确、自然, 能续编故事。

Revision
T:Today we’ll go on learning Unit 5 Helping our parents
First, let’s review story time. 出示图片It’s Saturday morning, what are the Browns doing?

3.Checkout time( Listen and number)
T: Good! Now, it’s 8 o’clock in the evening, what are they doing now? Let’s listen and number.

Cartoon time
(1)T: Where do they go? Can you guess?

T: Whose garden?
T: Yes, it’s Bobby’s garden, it’s big and beautiful. What can you see in the garden?
S:I can see some mushrooms/trees/grasses/grapes.
T: We can see some grapes. Bobby _____ ______(教 grow grapes) in the garden.
What color are the grapes? How are they?
S: They are sweet(教sweet).
T: Listen, (放录音) Bobby is very ____ (happy), Can you be a happy Bobby?
T: Good boys and girls. If you can read it better, the grapes will grow up. Can you believe it? Try !
T: Wow, magic! What big grapes! Watch carefully, what’s on the grapes?
T: There are some pests (教pests)on the grapes.
Is Bobby happy now?
(2) Pair work
T: He is unhappy. What does he say to the pests? Discuss with your partner.(学生一人波比,一人害虫,表演)
T: So Bobby says:” What are you doing here?”(双手叉腰,不高兴)。 But the pests are happy, ”We’re eating your grapes, they are so sweet!”

S: Ladybirds.
