Writing Tip
For exam purpose, treat diary as public document, using formal language and completed sentences.
A diary is not normally a public document; that is, it's written to record enevts and feelings for the writer himself/herself. The language is informal; the writer uses contractions and often leaves out some words so that it reads somewhat like notes.
HOMEWORK
Try to retell the passage in your own words.
Prepare for the language points.
