Lesson 43 Let’s Clean Up!. 教学设计
一、教材背景分析
本单元的中心话题是“保护环境、拯救我们的世界”。通过介绍和讲述不同的环保知识,学生们可以了解到中西方学生在环保方面的差异,增加对环境保护认识和兴趣。本单元围绕如何减少能源消耗(reduce),重新利用资源(reuse)以及循环利用资源(recycle)三个词的定义,告诉我们如何做一名绿色环保者,提倡我们关心环保并且尽量做到节能。
二、学情背景分析
对于八年级的学生来说,环保是一个很熟悉的话题。整合教材,对教材内容进行适当的删减、调序和补充。每个课时有一个主题,活动均围绕这个主题展开,使学生在从易到难不知不觉中,学到知识,运用到生活当中。激发了学生的兴趣,学生便会主动学习,学有所获。
三、教学目标分析
(一)知识技能
1. 识记单词短语:
attention, rubbish, pollution, explain, garbage,
clean up, draw one’s attention, pick up, a bit of.
2. 运用所学短语进行造句练习。
(二)语言技能
听:能根据课文提供的环境污染及环保的图片,听懂与此相关的短文,并从中判断与图片相符合的话题。
说:能用英语讨论一些环境问题。
读:能根据标题推测出文章可能包含的内容;读懂阅读文章,理解语篇主旨和细节。
写:围绕保护环境、拯救我们的世界这一主旨,挑选某个环境问题,如水污染、空气污染、浪费、乱砍乱伐等,写出自己的见解,如其现状,我们可能作些什么等等。
(三)情感态度
认识到保护环境,拯救世界的重要性;只有我们每个人都从身边小事做起,作到减少浪费,最大限度利用所有物品及循环利用资源,无论何时何地都想着环保和节能,拯救地球才有希望。
四、教学重难点
1、教学重点:
(1)正确记忆,运用单词和词组。
(2)正确理解reduce、 reuse、 recycle 的含义,并用英语表达出来。
2、教学难点 :
(1)正确运用词组:clean up, draw one’s attention, pick up, a bit of。
(2)用英语表达自己对环境污染的态度与建议。
五、教法分析
教学方法:问答法,讨论法,任务教学法,情景交际法。
教学手段:多媒体,道具。
六、学习策略
自主学习:结合个人情况,预习教材,找出自己的不懂之处。在网站或书籍中查找某方面污染的信息,为小组讨论做准备。
合作学习:对话,有具体的语言环境和特定情景模式,便于学生的理解,交流和学习。同时给出具体的学习任务,让学生分组讨论,研究,最后展示讨论结果---小组合作探究式学习。
七、教学步骤
Step 1: Greeting.
Step 2: Lead in. ( 导入设计)
Show a video about environment and ask the students some questions.
Step 3: Show the title and learning aims.
Step 4: New words.(词汇教学 )
First, teach the students how to read the words, and then let the students read in groups as quickly as possible in three minutes. Then check the students.
Step 5: Make the students listen to the tape carefully and do exercises. (文本教学---听力 )

Step 7: Cooperation Study( 合作探究 ).
Let the students talk about the phrases. Think about how to make sentences by using the phrases. Then show the sentences that the students make.
探究一:学习并总结归纳pick up的用法区别,举例说明.
探究二:学习并总结归纳draw one’s attention的用法,适度拓展,举例说明.
探究三:学习,理解词组a bit of 的用法,举例说明.
Step 8: Work in groups. ( 展示评价 )
Each World Environment Day has a theme. Can you think of your own theme for it Discuss them in group and present your slogan, logo and passage to the class.
