本课为单元的最后一课时,因此主要以复习、检测和提高学生写的能力为学习重点。一开始就通过“读一读,写一写”和“听一听,选一选”两个任务对学生进行了听写的检测。同时为接下来的写作做准备。
在写作前通过让学生复述Cartoon time的故事,既检测了学生家庭作业的质量,也通过检查复习巩固了学习内容。复习Cartoon time也帮助学生自然地过渡到讨论他们自己的梦想。
在写作环节中,老师先对学生上节课课后完成的写话进行了讨论,让学生在相互评价中提高。由于课文的写话是提纲式的,限制了学生的表达,为了更好地让学生自由表达,教师为学生提供了来自Nancy的范文,让学生在比较中激活写作思维,获得灵感,从而更好地让学生学会用英语表达,提高写作能力。
最后又以“哪个职业更重要”为话题,让学生能够思考并能表达自己的观点。最后又通过阅读绘本,让学生明白每个职业都有它的价值与意义。
