Step1. Checking their study by asking them some questions; Answer the questions in groups and individually. Ask some questions about the text Check what the students leant in the text and lead in the listening class.


Step2. Lead in- Listening. 1.look at the pictures carefully ,speak out some names.2. ①listen and get an overall understanding of the articles.②Answer the questions on page 38 1&2.listen to the second Part again and take some notes then answer some detailed questions with completed sentences. Write some names on the blackboard. 2.Ask students to look at the picture and try to describe them, then ask students to speak out some Words.2.Ask students to listen to the 2 articles and get a general idea of them.Play the second part again to get students listen 、take some notes and answer. 1’help students know the meaning of the new words in the listening for according to the pictures, also arouse their interests.2.Get a general idea of the article by listening . Then get the detailed information.
Step3 Retell information listen and take some notes to retell Give help when necessary Improve the ability of listening and speaking.
Step4 Homework:Writing Write a passage with the title: East, west, home’s best. Guide students to love their families and express their feelings to family members. Summarize and evaluate what they learn to improve the spirit of cooperation and the skills.
If time permits appreciate each other’s writing by exchanging them in pairs and correct them. Otherwise do it next time.
