It not only measures the economic development and GDP(Gross Domestic Product )of a country but also its education and life expectancy.

They agreed to work together to reduce poverty by 2015 or earlier.
It measures a country’s achievement (through life expectancy, education and income).
To reduce poverty and hunger, and ensure all children are educated up to the age of 11.
There are some examples of successful development, like in China, but more efforts are needed.
They need to give more money.
