一、学情分析
本堂课是针对小学英语六年级下册学生设计的一堂复习课。复习的主要内容为季节以及十二个月份。六年级的学生在词汇、句型的表达上有了一定的积累,季节话题贴近学生的生活,学生不仅感兴趣,也非常愿意在同伴间交流。本课是六年级下册第四单元总复习的最后一课,在上册书中学生已经学习了四季的有关表达,对于四季的描述也有一定积累,本节课将在已学知识的基础上进一步拓展,并横向联系已学知识,为学生梳理知识结构,进行有效的交流和表达。
二、教学目标
(1)本堂课的主要句型为描述四季的句子,? 能够听、说、读、写单词autumn, winter, yellow, brown, white, snowman以及句子Autumn is the third season. Winter is the fourth season.能够听、说、认读短语pick apples, cut rice, make a snowman, sweep the snow及句子What do people in autumn and winter?
在此基础上,我还增加了:What festivals are in …? Which months are in …? What’s the weather like in...?主要词汇和短语涉及到天气、活动、节日和月份。
(2)能够对四季的顺序、颜色、天气、活动进行交流和表达,能够描述自己最喜欢的季节。
(3)通过谚语拓展,领略各个季节的美并有所感悟,培养学生对生活的仔细观察的能力及小组合作精神。
3、重点难点
重点: 对于核心短语pick apples, cut rice, make a snowman, sweep the snow的应用和表达。
难点: 能够结合本单元所学知识,从老师引导、小组合作、进而到自己独立描述出最喜欢的季节。
三、教学过程
一、Warm up
1)sing a song.
A spring bird.
2)Greetings.
How are you today?
3) Free talk.
What day is today?
What’s the weather like today?
How many seasons are there in a year?
What are they?
Divide the class into six groups.
2、Revision
Activity 1:
1.Ask students to guess some riddles. What seasons are they?
It's the green season.
The leaves are green.
The weather is a little cold,but it gets warmer and warmer.
What season is it? The answer is spring.
2.Fill the blanks .(review these sentences about spring.)
3.(use PPT) Show some pictures of spring, ask: What do people do in spring? Choose some students to answer. Review the following phrases.
plant trees fly kites go on spring outings farm the land
look at the flowers
4.guess other seasons in proper order.
Review the following phrases.
go camping eat ice cream go swimming have summer classes pick apples cut rice make a snowman go skating sweep the snow
Activity 2:
Ask students to read out and spell these phrases.
Activity3:
Listening.
Do Task 11 on the textbook.
Gao Wei and Kate are talking about the four seasons. Listen and write.
Activity 4:
Ask students to answer the questions:
How many months are there in each season?
Which months are in spring/summer/autumn/winter?
Activity5:
Do task12 on the textbook.(talk in groups and then finish the table),then choose four ss to show this table.
Activity 6:
( use PPT) Show some pictures of festivals of the year,match the festivals with months.
Activity7: Talk about your favourite season with your classmates. Write it down.
四、Homework
* Talk about the four seasons with your parents at home.
**Collect more old sayings(谚语) about seasons.
5、课后反思:
这次我执教的是关于季节这一话题的复习课,应该说课的容量还是需要加大,而且活动形式也需要再丰富一些。在教学过程中还存在一些问题,导致学生输出不多,课堂气氛不够活跃,学生的积极性没有很好地被调动起来。
1.?前一部分关于春天的复习,所占用时间过长。学生回答问题缺乏主动性,且一些学生由于紧张无法正确读出单词。今后,应多注意调动课堂气氛,多给学生发言的机会,充分提高课堂效率。?????
2.?教学尽量不要“满堂灌”,?也不能“满堂问”,?学生能讲的,要尽量让学生讲;?学生能动的,?要尽量让学生动。???
? 通过本课的教学,我深有感触。首先,教学永远是一门无止境的艺术。无论怎样构思教学,总有需要我们进一步改进的地方,因此备好课绝不是一句空话,它需要我们充分了解教材、了解学生,需要我们踏踏实实地考虑好每一个环节,这样每一节课堂才会是高效率的,才能真正做到向课堂要质量、向环节要质量、向态度要质量。
