2.borrow 动词, 意为“借;借用”。

辨析 borrow, lend
borrow表示“借进”,即说话人向别人借东西供自己用,常用于“borrow sth. from sb./ somewhere”结构中。 lend表示“借出”,即说话人把自己的东西借给别人用,常用于“lend sth.to sb./ lend sb.sth.”结构中。
I borrowed an interesting book from the library. 我从图书馆借了一本有趣的书。
I lent the book to my best friend Jack.我把书借给了我最好的朋友杰克。
=I lent my best friend Jack the book.
3. pass 动词,意为“给,递给”,后可接双宾语结构,即pass sb. sth, 意为“把某物递给某人”,该结构可以和pass sth. to sb, 互换。
Please pass me that book.请把那本书递给我。
=Please pass that book to me.
