学会使用一般过去时询问出生地和出生日期来表达自己的思想感情,并能在实际生活中熟练运用。

回顾生活中有意义的经历,体验并表述情感状态。
二、 学情分析:
1. 学生在之前的四课书中已经接触和了解了一般过去时的用法和动词原形如何变过去式。在本课中要进一步帮助学生学会Be动词的过去式及其用法
2.教材重、难点:
Grasp the spelling and pronunciation of the new words and phrases.
be动词的过去式。
be动词引导的一般过去时的特殊疑问句以及回答。
三、Teaching Aids:
1.预习方案:要求学生听录音熟读课文,将不认识的单词查阅字典,记录新单词的读音,中文及词性。be born , be ill 的词性及其用法。
2.老师课前制作有一般过去时的课件。

Once upon a time , a man met a dog and wanted it to help him in the fight against other animals . He took the dog home and kept it as a friend . Later people used dogs for the hunting of other animals . So dogs were used to drive sheep to places and they were also used to look after chickens . But now people in towns and cities do not need dogs to fight against other animals . Of course people still keep them to frighten thieves and the most important thing is that people feel lonely in the city . They want to stay together with a lovely animal .
四、Teaching Procedure:
Step 1 : Greetings
Step 2 : Warm up
Play a game: 接龙游戏。方法:在规定时间内,以小组为单位组成方阵,进行句子接龙,本小组内地点不能重复,以所用时间最短、地点无重复、语言流畅为获胜条件。Eg:
S1: Where were you last Saturday ?
S2: I was at home . Were you at home , S3?
S3: No , I wasn’t . I was at the bookshop . Were you at the bookshop , S4?
S4: No , I wasn’t . I was at the cinema . Were you at the cinema , S5?
S5: No , I wasn’t . I was at the gym .
Step 3: New lesson
1. T: Good job. (show the calendar to the class )
March is the third month of the year . We can see green leaves and green grass everywhere . It’s a beautiful month . (引出) Whose birthday is in March ? What day is your birthday on ? How old are you ? (渗透:When were you born ? )
2. T: Were you born in 2002 ?
S1: Yes, I was .
T: Were you born in 2002?
S2: No , I wasn’t .
T: When were you born ?
S2: I was born in 2001.

3. T: I know when your birthday is , but I don’t know where you were born ?
Were you born in Tianjin ?
S3: Yes , I was .
T: Were you born in Tianjin ?
S4: No , I wasn’t .
T: Where were you born ?
S4: I was born in Beijing .

4. Watch the video and then ask the questions :
T: This is Yang Ming . Where was he born ? How old is he ?
( Watch the video again and answer my questions)
5. T: Was YangMing in Beijing last week ?
S: No , he wasn’t .
T: Where was he last week ?
S: He was in Hangzhou . Because his grandma was ill in Hangzhou lat week .

Note : ill (同义词) sick
(比较级) worse
(最高级) worst
There are many (sick , ill ) dogs in the pet hospital .

S3: Were you born on September 1st ?
Y: Yes, I was . ( practice more times )
