学情分析:
六年级学生已具备了能正确模仿发音、拼读单词、认读简单的词组、句型的能力,并渐渐形成学习英语的兴趣。这个时期的学生擅于思考和表达,对古今各种寓言故事特别感兴趣,在学习本单元之前,学生已经积累并能运用许多的词汇,如表示本领的单词、各类形容词等等。同时,学生已经积累并熟知部分常见的寓言故事,能够进行表达和交流见解,如ugly duckling, Cinderella, The fox and the grapes, Snow White等等。
教材分析:
本教材以话题为纲,强调语言的交际功能,注重情感激发,渗透文化,学科知识整合,培养学习策略,突出以人为本。本单元是六年级下册的第10单元,重点是经典故事或名著中人名、书名等的表达,如Aesop’s Fables、 Andersen’s Fairy Tales、 Grimms’ Fairy Tales等,和读懂介绍著名同属的小短文并且能够结合语境写出正确的句子,介绍自己喜欢的一本书。针对本课的教学内容,我们重新再构了文本,创设了新颖的情景,适当调整了教学内容的顺序,为教学提供更有利的设计,既顺应了情景的主线,也让学生逐步适应教学的进度,体现了螺旋上升的编排意图。
三、习得目标:
1. 在故事读书展的语境中进一步理解并运用单词:blow off, take off .
2.在读书展的语境中掌握和理解故事人物的情感。
3. 通过对故事的理解,学生能够感受到寓言中的寓意,并且完整复述故事。
四、习得重点:
在学生熟知寓言的基础上,引导学生主动思考寓言故事The Wind and the Sun 中的寓意并且利用板书框架复述故事。

1. 通过理解故事的大意和寓意,学生能够对寓言故事有初步的认知和定义,并且能够复述故事。

此次课为六年级下册的新授课,课程内容是一则简短的寓言故事。本着生本、生活、生态、生
动的理念,基于本真课堂的原则,以学生为主体的自主高效课堂强调:课堂教学要以学生的“自学”为本,教师的“讲解”“灌输”为辅;通过小组合作学习,高效完成教学任务;注重学生探求知识的过程,自信展示学习成果效果;强调学习积极性及参与度,展示成果的参与面,掌握知识的有效和高效。基于这种教学理念,我在设计The Wind and the Sun的过程中力求突破自我认知,以学生主动猜测故事情节的教学方式去实践学生自主学习的课堂。
纵观本节课的教学,发现我还没有真正领悟“四生”高效课堂的实质,教学理念中的“放手”
与教学实际中的“牵手”没有有机融合;挖掘解析文章“吃透教材”与小组合作学习“吃透学生”没有有机结合;高效课堂的教学模式与小组合作学习的形式不能灵活运用,致使这节课有了太多的遗憾,具体表现在以下几个方面;
问题设置本末倒置,预设的“靓点”没有“亮”起来。寓言故事The Wind and the Sun采用了
极具韵律美的诗歌语言,清晰明了,学生能够通过自主学习去掌握故事的大意。设计之初,想着将寓言故事的背景贯穿其中,随之形成了“猜故事——读故事——讲故事”的教学框架,将学习寓言故事与复述寓言故事相融合,将习作练笔与课堂复述结合,将小组分工与集体创作整合,形成了“共同学习故事——集体分析故事——合作展示故事”的检测预设,也是本节课预设的教学靓点,结果因为时间掌控、教学安排问题,在精彩展示环节没有充分的时间,让学生及教师们没有看到精彩之处,课堂显得本末倒置,让整个课堂逊色不少。
2、过分关注学习效果,重难点突破蜻蜓点水,浮光掠影。
本节课是Great Storybooks的第二课时,我设置的教学重点是“通过熟读了解课文,体会寓言故事中的寓意。”实际教学过程中,教师只是要了学生汇报的结果——部分学生或集体朗读,但是在朗读感悟、个性化的阅读理解都没有深入到课文的字里行间。学习过程要求学生参与度高,参与面广,课堂气氛活跃,无形放大了学生自主的内涵,过多地关注形式,忽略了实效。自主学习的内容有形无实,课堂展示看似以生为本,实则浮光掠影匆匆而过,教学重点显得不够突出,因而学生对寓言故事的寓意感受不深,没有预设中的精彩和亮点,直接导致学生在表达寓意过程中不能充分发挥想象。
教学难点是“能够体会故事寓意并且根据板书或线索自主复述故事。”将复述故事作为课堂教学检测的内容,在小组成员分别完成课堂习单的基础上,加上总写的开头和结尾进行复述。并且以Reader Theater的活动形式,唤醒更多学生内心对于朗读的兴趣和激情。课堂中让学生复述一个故事,本身就有难度,因之,教学过程中虽然预留了2分钟的完成习单的环节,习作朗读展示只有一个小组,课堂总结也在仓促中完成。时间安排的不充分,让完整的小组创作特色展示不够突出。
朗读不到位,个性化阅读氛围没有营造出来
The Wind and the Sun 是一篇诗歌韵律俱佳的简短故事,如果能在课堂上有充足的朗读时间进
行Reader theater 的环节,让每一位学生充分阅读,品味文字,分享感悟,我相信,The Wind and the Sun中的角色情感以及故事寓意,定能在学生朗读演译中渐次升华。故事中不同的角色有着不同的情感,北风肆意傲慢,呼呼作怪,太阳温暖谦逊,温暖人间。在生活中,并不是所有强硬都能够成为最后的胜利者。学生们可以选择任意自己喜欢的角色,边读边想象,继而让学生感悟在阅读中原来有这么多趣味,短短的寓言故事原来有如此深刻的道理。
无论是自主课堂,还是传统课堂,对于英语课来说,都是要朗读、感悟、理解贯穿始终的,真正的高效课堂必然是一节让学生自主阅读理解,自觉探求知识的课堂。无论教师如何“引”“导”,学习的主体是不变的。恪守英语教学的本真——读一读,说一说,写一写,学生的英语素养和英语思维才能循序渐进地被开发出来并且有所提高;回归课堂教学的自然状态——多读多练,高效课堂才能在扎实训练中逐步落实。
