一、教学目标：
（一）语言知识目标
1、New words：want, see, favourite, place.
2) New phrases: Big Ben, Tower Bridge, Toronto, CN Tower, Niagara Falls, Sydney Opera House, Disneyland
2) New sentences :
I would like to go to London.
(二) 、能力目标
1、 能正确使用will 和 be going to 表达将要做某事。
2、 能够理解和表达简单的旅行计划。
3 、培养学生在现实情境中用英语表达真实感受的能力和语言运用能力。
4、结合图片，介绍更多的世界名胜。
二、 教学重点和难点
重点：Learn the text and be able to describe the pictures about the main interesting places in the world.
难点：1、使用will 和 be going to 表达将要做某事。
2、用学过的语言表达简单的旅行计划。
3、让学生学习掌握交际用语Would you like to go to...和I want to go...，使学生能够用英语来表达自己的想法及征求别人的意见。

地图、图片、单词卡，录音机，PPT

注重合作学习，任务型教学，直观法，情景教学法，。

七、教学过程：
Step 1 Warm up (Revision)
1. Show a movie to look around the interesting places of the world.
2. Ask “Where would you like to go?”
3.T: This is a map of the world. Today we are going to visit Britain, Canada, Australia and America.
出示单词及四个国家的单词及国旗图片：map, world, Britain, Australia, America, Canada.
Step 2 Presentation
1) T: There are many famous places in these countries. OK, the first place to go is London.
2）learn words :London and Big Ben
T: London is a beautiful city of Britain. Big Ban is in London. (介绍大本钟,并展示图片） OK, read after me.
3）learn words: Tower Bridge
T: Tower Bridge is also in London. (介绍伦敦塔桥,并展示图片） OK, read after me. London is so beautiful! I would like to go to London.
4）learn words: Sydney and Sydney Opera House
T: OK, we’ll go to Sydney. Sydney is in Australia. The famous place there is Sydney Opera House. (介绍悉尼歌剧院，并展示图片) OK, read after me.
5）learn words: Disneyland
T: Here’s America .I’m sure you’ll like Disneyland. It is one of the greatest theme parks in the world. (介绍Disneyland，并展示图片) OK, read after me.
6) learn words: CN Tower and Niagara Falls
T: Now we are going to visit Canada. The famous places there are CN Tower and Niagara Falls. CN Tower is in Toronto. It is the tallest tower in the world. (介绍多伦多CN塔,并展示图片）

7) learn words : Niagara Falls
T: Would you like to go to Canada?
S: Yes, of course. I want to go...
T: The last place to go is Niagara Falls. Niagara Falls is also in Canada. (介绍尼亚加拉大瀑布,并展示图片）OK, read after me.
8. Learn the four countries of America, England, Australia and Canada. Talk about the interesting places of the world.
9. Ask “ Where would you like to go?” Can you take a trip to London?”
10. Learn and revise the interesting places of Big Ben, Tower Bridge, Disneyland, CN.Tower, Niagara Falls and Sydney Opera House.
11. Practice to say “ I would like to go to visit……?”
Step 3. Practice
1.Just write
Write the words and sentence on the Blackboard “map, world, London” “I would like to go to London.” Ask to practice writing them on the exercise books.
2、Let’s sing, sing “our world” together, to revise the pictures of the world.
3. Let’s chant. Listen to the video for three times, try to practice the pronunciation of ow.
4.出示本单元名胜古迹词语卡片the Great Wall, the Ming Tombs, the Forbidden city, the Summer Palace等操练句型Would you like to go to...和I want to go...
八、 Homework
1. Copy each word twice.
2. Remember four-skills words.
3. Write a passage to introduce the famous places of the world.

教学反思：
本节课进行了Unit 3《We are going to travel》第6课时的单词，短语、句子操练的教学，为了避免学生感觉枯燥，课堂上采用了Chant ,Games,创设情景等形式，整个课堂气氛热烈，学生都表现积极，但最后一检查，却发现一个很大问题，学生单独表达时，语言能力差，表达的不完整，而能够熟练自由表达地学生不多。整节课学生轻轻松松，给人感觉学生是在玩中学，学中玩，但效果竞会这样不尽人意？课后我对这节课进行了深刻的反思：
1.不能仅仅靠游戏，要靠丰富而又扎实的语言知识，小学英语教学是要重视培养兴趣，40分钟的英语课，单靠唱歌游戏不能培养学生真正、持久的兴趣。新鲜劲儿一过，孩子们就会厌倦，很多学生往往只是跟着凑热闹,因而看似热闹的课堂并不能带来我所期望的效果。所以可以采用多种手段，帮助学生在记忆力强的时期多记单词，多学习语言规则，并尽可能多创造模仿的机会，提高学生的语音和语调。
2.本节课的设计重在激发学生学习的兴趣，强化学生的参与意识，激发学生积极、热情地投入到各项活动中去，培养他们的自我管理与自我调控能力，从而调动了学生的学习积极性和学好英语的主动性。知识，并且大胆地开口交流，初步培养学生用英语进行日常交流的能力。学生普遍对英语有着浓厚的兴趣，相信这也是他们进一步发展的动力和源泉。在教学中我充分运用了多媒体教学设备，并对教学资源进行了有效地整合，从教学的反馈情况来看，学生们对于这种教学模式很喜欢，可见有效地利用教学资源能更好地完成教学目标。
3.在 Read and write 部分为学生创设了贴近生活的情景教学，在活动中将本课的语言知识点运用到创设的情景中，提升学生的语言运用能力。
4.在教授知识和学生学习过程中，不能注意到学生的差异性，没有发现他们接受语言的快慢程度，最终导致有的学生学地好，有的学生学不好。学不好的那部分学生就会产生以下情绪：上课或讲练习的时候，就会马虎，注意力不集中。
通过这一节后，给了我更多的反思。首先，在平时的教学中，一定要抓学生的学习主动性和积极性。这方面的工作要完成很不容易，需要家长的积极配合，每学期开学的第一堂课，我就给学生明确学习英语的目标和要求，引起学生对英语学习的重视。我要求学生每天认真听写当天学过的单词和句子，其次让学生做好每天的预习功课，从而积累学生的词汇和语言运用能力，最关键的是为上课做好充分的准备。让学生在家坚持家庭听写，使他们自觉主动地在课外也能花时间在英语的听读练习上，促进他们对知识的巩固和运用。向学生讲述好的识记单词的方法，帮助学生在记忆力强的时期多记单词，多学习语言规则，提高学生的语音和语调。真正做到听说先行，读写跟上。光听说不读写，很难收到高效。所以小学生还是应当认真进行语言学习。使知识系统化。
