出示PPT,创设外星人Alien带我们回到现在地球的情景，通过对比古代和现代地球的变化，引出问题：What happen on the earth? 让学生思考回答。接着出示几张卡通图片，引出本单元的重点词组：cut down the trees, throw rubbish into the river, using plastic bags。接下来，让学生思考回答问题：What should we do to save the earth? ，通过小组讨论回答问题，引出本单元的重点句型：We should stop doing sth .
