Pre-task 1. Review T says: Yesterday, we learned something from the Internet through the classroom conversation. That’s the Internet. Let’s recap. What is the Internet? How do people communicate with others through the internet? T shows two questions on PPT on board and asks Ss to share in pair (A student share the first question, B student share the second. ) T picks lucky draw and asks Ss to share What is the Internet? It is a network, or system, that connects millions of computers worldwide. How do people communicate with others through the internet? People communicate with others through social network. A social network allows people to connect with one another. SL-K-6 Reviewing the basic concept of the internet and social network which can path the way of what students are going to read today.
While-task 2. Reading Look and Read Lead in T says: Today, we are going to read one of the social network – electronic mail (e-mail) T asks Ss to turn to page P38 and asks “Who wrote the letter?” (Kitty) “Why did she write a letter?” (She wanted to ask Gary Brown to be her e-friends.)
