主句时态是一般现在时或一般将来时

从句的时态可根据实际情况而定
1. I knew you played computer games.
2. She told me that she was cooking at that time last week.
3. He asked whether his father would come back the next day.
4. He didn't know what they had come here for?

从句一定要用相对应的过去的某种时态
（一般过去时，过去进行时，过去将来时，过去完成时）
主句是过去时态
1. Vicky said she worked here 3 years ago.
2. He said to us that he joined the Party last year.

从句有明确表示过去的时间，则从句保持一般过去时。

从句是客观事实、真理、自然现象、谚语、名言警句时用一般现在时。

could / would 是委婉语气，而不是过去式，因此宾语从句的时态根据实际情况而定。

宾语从句时态口诀
宾从时态很好记，主句不同从句异；
主句谓语现在时，从句时态任所需；
主句谓语过去时，从句时态向前移；
具体过去永不变，真理格言现在时；
wish从句全过去，宾从时态我不惧。
1. 主句用现在时，从句可根据实际，用_______时态。
