本课件是为仁爱英语八年级下册Unit 8 Topic 1 Section A编写的教学课件。这是第八单元第一话题的第一课时。在复习学过的服装名词的基础上学习新的服装名词，学会并熟练运用“so...that...”句型，学会怎样寻求帮助和表达约定。课件图片新颖、活泼，教学思路清晰、简练，注重对学生听说能力的培养。为更好更有效地实现本课教学目标，本课件从学生实际出发，对教材进行了必要的整合，教学设计直观生动，对教学设计作如下安排：

Key points of 1a
1. My old coats are so short that I want to buy some new ones.
我的旧外套太短了，我想买些新的。
◆so ... that ... 如此......以至于...... ，that 引导的是结果状语从句，其结构是“so+形容词或副词+that从句”。
E.g:他跑得如此快以至于我们追不上他。
He ran so fast that we couldn't catch up with him.
天气太冷了，以至于我不想起床。
It is so cold that I don't want to get up.
◆ones 代替上文提到的同类复数事物，以避免重复。

so ...that +句子 如此...以致于...引导结果状语从句
(that后接的句子表示主句动作所导致的结果）

3.so＋many/ much / little/ few＋名词+that

= too+ 形容词/副词+to do sth 太...而不能
