1) 谈及一项长期活动或开始一种习惯时,使用doing.

2) begin, start用进行时时,后面动词用不定式to do

think后面的句子做think的宾语,这是一个宾语从句。

这是个to do 不定式的系表结构,意思是,...是做某事。

这里let's 表示建议,提议。
to do 不定式,常用来表示目的。
宾语从句:
宾语从句是指充当宾语的句子。当陈述句充当宾语时,由that来引导,that 在口语或非正式文体中常省略。如:
