I. Lead-in 5’ Play a game to let students guess what season is mentioned. Guide students to think about how do animals keep themselves warm. II. pre-reading Stage 2.1 3’ Let students think about why seasons make us think of the story. Read the sentence before the main text Arouse students’ reading interests. To cultivate students’ ability of predicting what will happen in this story.
Stage 2.2 3’ Play a video and raise some simple questions. Introduce the main characters in the story. Watch a video and answer the question. To help students get a general idea of the story.
