Adverbial Clause led by if.

一、宾语从句的概念
Read and find out the object:
I know him.
Why don’t you pay attention to me?
I’m not sure when he will be back.
I don’t know if he will come tonight.
I think (that) she is beautiful.

宾语,位于谓语动词或者介词后。宾语从句就是在复合句中作宾语的名词性从句。

(一) 引导词（1）
当宾语从句是陈述句时，由从属连词（ ）引导，常可省略。

当宾语从句是一般疑问句时，由连词 ___或________引导，翻译成：“是否”，不能省略。

宾语从句的注意事项

当宾语从句表示否定的意义时，若主句主语为第一人称且谓
语动词是think / believe / suppose / expect /
guess / imagine等时，应在主句上加以否定。

eg:
I believe April is the hottest month of the year.
He doesn’t know how he can get on well with
his classmates.
=He doesn’t know _____ ___ get on well with

2. 宾语从句的简化
在一定条件下，宾语从句可以简化为
“特殊疑问词+不定式”
