一、教学目标
Just read and talk:本课是一个关于问路的小对话。通过男人向Li Yan和Yang Ming问路,引出有关出行方式、所用时间及路线的语言表达,即要学习的目标语言How can I get to ...? You can go hereby…通过师生、生生之间的对话,学生自主感知、模仿、理解和体验,运用You can get off the bus at the third stop.等表示指路的功能语句在真实语境中进竹行交际。
主要目标语言:
How can I get to the City Library?
You can get there by No. 6 bus.

三、教学步骤
(一)热身 复习 导入
1、师生问候,铺垫新知:
T: Hello everybody!How are you today? Today we’ll have a new lesson.(板书课题)
2、热身活动,复习旧知
T:Now,boys and girls ,stand up,show me your hands,please.Let’s have a chant.
(chant内容:flowershop flowershop where is the flowershop ?复习上一课学习的问路方式)
导入 (介绍短文背景,教师粘贴卡片布置短文情景)
T: There’s a big community.There’s a bookshop、flowershop ..... .One day ,an American man wants to go to the City Library.But he doesn’t know the way.Liyan and Yangming want to help him. Let’s have a look what are they talking.

(二)新课呈现
1、学习重难点句子短语
T:The man says“Where ’s the City Library ?” He can also say this sentence.(课件播放句子录音,教师板书句子“How can I get to the City Library ? 句子练习)
教师出示公交车、站牌等卡片,边描述路线边粘贴卡片,导出far from短语,课件出示near、far、too far引出不同的交通方式on foot、by bus\subway...,并引出答句“You can get there by... .”
句子练习:30秒速记短语,课件出示短语: far from half an hour bus stop the No.6 bus the third stop get off
短语练习:(游戏熊二跑过打乱短语汉译,看谁能迅速归位)
2、学习对话
听录音感知课文
Work in groups:小组合作试翻译课文解决生词
练习:游戏 magic apple tree:学生选择喜欢的数字回答相应的问题,答对得分答错不扣分
看课文动画理解对话
Role play:师生分角色朗读对话
Work in groups:改编对话
