Module 9 Unit 1 They were very young.
教学内容本单元主要谈论过去的事情和状态,对比过去与现在的不同。
教学目标知识与技能目标:1. 全体学生能够掌握单词were, was, beautiful, also, then, who, grandparents, old;2. 全体学生能够掌握句型They were very young then. But they are very old now. Your hair was very short then;过程与方法目标:1. 全体学生能够理解一般过去时态,掌握was与were的用法和区别;2. 全体学生能够熟练运用They were very young then. But they are very old now.的句型,对比过去与现在的不同。情感态度价值观目标: 培养学生学习英语的乐趣,懂得珍惜时间,同时,在时间的变化中,感受到父母慢慢变老,要懂得更加关爱父母。
教学重难点:一般过去时,利用一般过去时,描述过去与现在的区别变化。
教学过程(一) Warming up1. 播放英语儿歌。2. 总结歌曲中出现的反义词组。(二) Presentation1. 出示钟南山照片,情感渗透疫情期间,钟南山带领白衣天使奋战一线的事迹。2. 播放钟南山从年轻到老的小视频。3. 对比:He was very young in 1980. He is old in 2020.4. 出示三张日历:1980年 2020年 2030年,总结概括学习的时态。5. Compare and say。图片对比,学习一般过去时。钟南山图片对比:He was very young then (那时). He is old now.莱昂纳多图片对比:He was young and thin then. He is old and fat now.TFboys图片对比:They were short then. Now they are tall.6. 总结一般过去时的概念,was / were,时间标志词then。7. 教材Part 1学习。8. Read and tick. 读句子,选出正确答案。9. 结合题型,总结was和were的用法。10. 教材Part 4 Practice and say。11. 教材Part 2学习。找出then与now的句子。12. 学习形容词cute,总结形容人物性格特征的形容词。(三) Consolidation and practice1. Describe yourself. 从自己的面貌、身体变化、性格特点等描述自己小时候与现在的变化。以小猫咪成长过程对比为例。2. 情感渗透:We should love our parents more.(四) Summary★ 一般过去时★ 时间标志词then (那时)★ be动词的变化:am / is --- was are --- were(五) Homework1.熟读课本50页第2部分,发至英语微信群。2.完成卷子作业。 设计意图通过英语儿歌,掌握反义词,导入过去与现在的对比。情感渗透的同时,切入今天的重点知识点。日历直观说明过去、现在和将来。利用学生熟知的人物例子对比,生动直观描述过去与现在的对比。巩固带有be动词的一般过去时。练习一般过去时,对比过去与现在的变化。通过对比自己的成长变化,巩固练习一般过去时。通过沙画视频,感悟时间都去哪了,感恩父母之情,懂得关爱父母。总结本节课所学重点知识。通过作业,巩固所学新知识。
