中国青年志愿者协会（英文名Chinese
Young
Volunteers
Associasion,简称CYVA）成立于1994年12月5日，是由志愿从事社会公益事业与社会保障事业的各界青年组成的全国性社会团体，是中国共产主义青年团中央指导下的，由依法成立的省、自治区、直辖市青年志愿者组织和全国性的专业、行业青年志愿者组织和个人自愿结成的全国性的非营利性社会组织，是全国青联团体会员，联合国国际志愿服务协调委员会（CCIVS）联席会员组织。本协会通过组织和指导全国青年志愿服务活动，努力弘扬“奉献、友爱、互助、进步”的志愿精神，推动社会主义精神文明建设，促进社会主义市场经济体制的建立和完善，提高青年的整体素质，为经济社会的协调发展和全面进步贡献力量。本协会在宪法和法律许可的范围内开展工作。
青年志愿者标志说明：
标志的整体构图为心的造型，同时也是英语“青年”（YOUTH）的第一个字母Y；图案中央既是手，也是鸽子的造型，与红色的背景构成爱心图案。
标志寓意中国青年志愿者向社会上所有需要帮助的人奉献一片爱心，伸出友爱之手，面向世界、奔向未来，表现青年志愿者“热心献社会，真情暖人心”的主题。
