(2)部分动词加后缓-or构成名词:act(行动)—actor(演员) direct(指管理、导演)→ director(导演；主管); invent(发明)→ inventor(发明家)

3. When it’s on, it means we’re on air.
当它（红灯）亮时，我们正在广播。4)be on意为“在进行,开始”,和begin和start同义, begin/star为终止性动词,不能和一段时间连用,可用be on转化和一段时间连用。The movie started ten minutes ago.电影在十分钟前开始了。The movie has been on for ten minutes电影已经开始十分钟了。
e.g. We will be on air in about five minutes.
我们将在大约五分钟后开始广播。
The radio station is on air from 6.00 a.m.
这个电台早晨6点开播。
on air意为“（广播或电视）播出，正在广播”。
