一.教材分析:
牛津英语四年级下册第12单元the
ugly
duckling
的第一课时,是以丑小鸭这个故事为主题而展开的语言交际教学。

二.教学目标
1、学习单词:ugly
duck

2、通过学习故事的第一部分,帮助学生了解故事人物和背景,激发阅读兴趣。
三.教学重难点:故事的描述以及丑小鸭外貌和天气的描述,把握以及感受丑小鸭心理变化过程。
四.教学过程

导入及组织教学
Step1:通过图片以及文字让学生猜一猜,激起学生的求知欲。
Step2:

guess.让学生触摸袋子里的东西并用学过的单词对摸到的物品进行描述。
实施目的:
通过故事引导以及摸一摸,猜一猜的游戏环节可以快速热场,活跃气氛,让学生们进入上课的状态。
Step3:
Look
and
learn.配以生动的图片,引出主人公丑小鸭的出现,并让学生感受ugly和beautiful带来的视觉冲击。
实施目的:贴近学生的实际生活,引发思考。在检查学生预习情况的同时,又引出了本节课的标题。
2.新知识的呈现
Step1:
介绍作者Anderson以及他的其他四部代表作。
