一.教材分析:
Lesson
14
Accidents
Happen!是冀教版(衔接三年级起点)九年级Unit3的第二课,通过报道了一片发生在13岁女孩Ann
Brown身上的交通意外,要求学生掌握所学的语言知识,和听、说、读、写等基本技能。了解事故发生的人物、起因、经过、结果。更重要的是促使学生树立安全意识,真正达到素质教育的目的。
二.学情分析:
农村初中的学生接触英语的机会很少,英语表达能力欠缺,九年级段的学生有了一定的英语基础,但听、说、读、写各方面的能力不到位。只是适合于老师教、他们被动的接受。因此在教学中,教师要多引导、多启发、多给学生提供表达的机会,指导他们积极主动地阅读、表达,从而逐步提高他们的英语水平和能力。

accidents
happen,how
many
main
people
are
there”引出事故发生的人物:受害者、目击者、肇事者,从而呈现表格,让学生通过听课文,捕捉信息,随后根据各个人物的活动,学习重点短语,掌握语言知识点,再呈现出事故发生的阶段,开始、中间、结尾及造成的影响,学生们自己填表,自己归纳,学会复述,从而最终提高他们的综合能力。

八.教学设计思路:
通过课前竞争、合作意识的提醒,促使学生积极、主动、合作地完成本节课学习内容,
课前的预习检测,呈现本课的主要生词,让学生逐步的课堂检测环节就明确先学的重要性,随后简单课堂热身环节问题的呈现,自然而然的引出本课课题,通过学生对事故人物身份的展示,姓名,活动,及连线的设计,让孩子们明确一场事故发生的主要人物,并且的表格的呈现下,通过阅读寻找信息,通过归纳、复述提升语言综合运用的能力,最后再课堂讨论中进行情感教育,让学生指导安全的重要性,试写一篇事故报道。

→事故人物的梳理→事故人物的举动→事故发生的起因、高潮、结果→课堂讨论、情感升华,
层层深化,层层推进,步步拓展,深化主题。使学生不仅很好的掌握所学知识,更重要的是对学生安全意识的培养和教育。
