教材依据
冀教版《英语》九年级下册第二单元第五课时。

设计思路
1.指导思想:依据2011年版
国家义务教育课程标准。
2.设计理念:在设计中注重逻辑性和层次性,贴近学生生活实际,英语生活化。
3.教材分析:
Unit
Two的话题是“世界上的伟人”。同学们在前几课已经学习了像爱因斯坦,袁隆平,海伦凯勒这些伟人的生平和贡献,本科要学的是白求恩。课前让学生们搜集了解关于白求恩的资料的事迹,对学习本课做好准备。LESSON
11是冀教版初中九年级英语第二单元的第十一课,本课通过一篇短文介绍了白求恩在抗日战争中对中国人民作出的贡献和他对世界的影响。承接前几课,学好这一课对学生以后介绍人物有重要的帮助。
从语法角度来说,LESSON
11并不复杂:重点短语有remain

day.大部分都已经学过,语法方面定于从句前几课出现较多,已经讲解过;这节课主要是回顾用法。另外还有Operate
的用法以及die
的用,这也在前几课都出现过,不必细讲。本课的重点是谈论英雄人物白求恩在医疗方面帮助中国人民的事迹。难点是能从课文中获取关键信息并用第三人称复述人物的事迹。这都在课堂环节中训练到了。
从话题角度上来说,谈论伟人,是学生最感兴趣的话题。他们的学习积极性一定会很高。

教法设计
鉴于本课的特点,课前和课堂上都可以充分运用“任务型教学”进行教学,采用讨论法完成本课的教学任务。引导学生在课前努力地去搜集相关材料,并将其进行分类。然后在课堂上与同学一起讨论、分享。

学法设计
新课程标准提倡“自主、合作、探究”的理念,教师也要让学生之间合作去找出重、难点,并能在小组范围内尽量的解决,老师起指导的作用。
