Santa Claus
Santa Claus lives in the North Pole.
Santa’s List
They say that Santa has a list with every name of every person in the entire world.
Santa studies the list to know who is good or naughty.
If you are naughty you
will get coal for Christmas.
Elves
Santa’s helpers are elves who live with him in the North Pole.
They make millions of toys for him during the year.
Presents / Gifts
The elves then wrap the toys into presents for all of the good children in the world.
Santa’s Reindeer
The elves also feed Santa’s flying reindeer.
Santa uses his reindeer to fly around the world to give presents to children.
Santa Comes to Town
During Christmas night, Santa will fly his reindeer to your house.
He comes into your house through your chimney.
Christmas Tree
At Christmas Santa puts your presents under your Christmas Tree.
You can buy your own tree and plant it into your house.
You then decorate it with lights and ornaments.
Stockings
Some people will hang their stocking, or big sock, on the wall.
If you do this, then Santa will fill the stocking with candy!
Candy Cane
Milk & Cookies
Santa loves milk and cookies.
So some very good children will leave milk and cookies on the table for him.
Christmas Carols
Songs sung during Christmas are called carols.
People who sing carols are called carolers.
Carolers will walk to people’s houses and sing carols to them as loudly as they can.
