Final Exam! 12/28
The Oral English Exam will be the week after next week:
The exam will be completely oral; nothing will be written.
In groups of 3 to 4 students. You will prepare an conversation. Your group will be called on at random.
Final Exam
Your group can choose a topic from the list or if you have a good idea for your topic you can ask me before about it.
Topics should be discussed for no less than 1 minute and no more than 2 minutes.
Topics
1.One or two of members of your group have a serious problem and the other students give advice.
2. One student pretends to be a teacher and the others pretend to be his or her class. Students must ask their teachers questions, and the teacher must answer well.
3.One person in the group is the reporter and interviews the rest of the group. Be sure to define who the rest of the group is. For example: athletes, politicians, or celebrities.
Final Exam
Extra points:
If you use something you have learned in my class in your discussion.
If you use complicated sentences well.
Losing points:
If you are obviously unprepared.
If you consistently use improper English.
If you read from a script (paper with words)!
