说学生：
六年级学生掌握了一定的英语语用知识，能够根据内容简单的表达自己的观点，但是他们由于没有专门学习地理方面的知识，对地球的形成过程有较吃力地理解。
说教法：
本节课采取阅读三步走（pre-reading——while
reading——post
reading）的方法进行阅读教学。阅读教学过程中渗透“查找关键词”等主要阅读策略，帮助学生阅读，扫清阅读障碍。整节课采取谈话法、讨论法、合作交流法等教学方法来贯穿课堂。
