《普通高中英语课程标准(2017版)》中提出了英语学科核心素养,其中语言能力包括:在熟悉的语境中,较为熟练地使用已有的英语语言知识,理解语篇传递的要义、主要信息和意图。
《义务教育英语课程标准(2011版)》中课程基本理念(四)强调学习过程,重视语言学习的实践性和应用性。主张学生在语境中接触、体验和理解真实语言,并在此基础上学习和运用语言。
本课重点在于让学生主要理解语篇传递的要义、主要信息和作者意图。学生能够分析重点句型的构成并运用到课后作文中。
WHAT:主要内容
本课是北师大版《初中英语》八年级下册教材第5单元Memories的第13课A
Daughter’s
letter的第一课时。文本是一封女儿在外求学远离父母又第一次过生日时写给妈妈的一封信,表达了对妈妈的思念和感谢。文章分三部分:第一部分:解释为什么写这封信;第二部分,主要通过回忆儿时妈妈的陪伴时光和自己生活道路上遇到任何问题时妈妈给与的帮助来表达对妈妈的感谢。第三部分,通过作者对“成功”二字的理解,再次表达了今日自己的成功来自妈妈的爱和鼓励,表达了对妈妈的感激之情。
WHY:文本意图
本文旨在通过这封女儿写给妈妈的信,让学生们理解父母,感恩父母并让学生们对人生的成功含义做初步探讨。
HOW:文体结构和修辞语言
本文是一封书信,文体结构清晰。另外本课中还会渗透间接引语的相关知识,使学生对间接引语有初步的了解。
教材分析
整体分析:八(3)班同学目前分化比较严重。整体英语学习阅读理解能力较薄弱。主要体现在不能很好地理解段落句子与句子之间的逻辑关系,不会对长难句进行分析,遇到生词不会推测,不能准确地找到文章中心等。另外阅读习惯不好,主要体现在:阅读难度稍大的文章时欠缺阅读方法,不能认真审题,不会审题,部分同学看到文章较长就失去了读下去的信心。
已有知识:学生通过完成
“母亲节”的主题趣配音,在情感上体验了如何理解父母并知道感恩。
对于宾语从句的语序在本册书第一单元已经学过,学生们基本掌握。
可能存在的问题:对于memorable.
