【学习目标】
根据情境,能够运用本单元新词汇和how long---, for以及 since进行口语交流;
能听懂本单元所提供的听力素材,并完成听力任务。
能够谈论时间。
【课前准备】
根据音标,熟读生词,直至背诵。
复习年份的读法。
【学习过程】
一、预习情况检查
1、同桌间进行词汇的英汉互译和拼写。
2、小组内检查以下词汇年份的读法:
1995 1998 2001 2003 2006
二、感受新知
Mode l: A:How long have you lived in Weifang
B:I have lived in Weifang since 1996/for 12 years.
三、专项练习
两人一组,仿照以上Mode l 做对话,进行说的训练,并纠正出现的错误。可参考下列提示词进行扩展:
learn English, study Chinese, be a student, live in Weifang, know my best friend…
四、听力训练
1、听Activity 1, 匹配年份和活动。
2、再听材料,回答下列问题:
(1) Has Ms James lived in China since 2004
(2) Has Ms James studied Chinese for 17 years
(3) Does Ms James still know the head teacher
(4) How many years has Ms James taught English
2人一组,根据听力内容,仿照Activity 2的例句问答有关Ms James 的问题。
例句:How long has Ms James been a teacher
Since 1998.
五、对话学习(Activity 3)
1、请听对话,回答Activity 4的问题。
2、再听一遍,完成下列表格。

3、根据以上所填表格,小组内用How long--引导的问句进行对话练习。

4、参考下面“语言点导学”读对话一遍,找出重点短语。
语言点导学
(1) When does Sally arrive in Beijing
到达某地 arrive in/at +地点名词 = get to+地点名词 = reach+地点名词 arrive+ 地点副词= get+ 地点副词=reach+ 地点副词 (home, here, there--).
(2) But I get on well with her. 但是我和她相处得不错。
get on … with 表示“与…相处得…”, 中间可以加一个
表示程度的副词,如get on well with (与…相处得好),
get on badly with (与…相处得不好).
(3) We like the same things.
same adj. 相同的;同一的;pron. 同样的人/物。
same前一定要有定冠词the或指示代词this, that, these, those等。
the same as 意为和……一样,其反义词组是be different from。
(4 ) It’s easier to learn a foreign language when you visit the country.
当你来到那个国家,学习它的语言就会更容易。
句中it是形式主语,真正的主语是后面的动词不定式。这是It’s + adj .+ for sb.+ to do sth.句型。
(5) But she has heard about the Hope Schools and ----
但她听说过有关希望学校的事情…
hear about 表示 “听到关于某人(某事)的消息”,可以与hear of (听说)互换。
